Blue turns to Grey is one of my favorite early Stones, overlooked tunes! There's so many of them from this band - Flight 505, Sittin on a Fence, Backstreet Girl, Fortune Teller, Poison Ivy...

I'll have to give it another listen. Must admit it's the album I listen to the least. I think the sound quality is deplorable.

Don't get me wrong - I like a lot of his songs, and have all the GH albums. That's as far as I'm take myself to spend $ on his stuff, though I do recall being in Starbucks last fall and they had his newest release playin and it sounded pretty good. I do think he writes some great stuff, but the show was god awful, and I personally can't stand his voice. I know people pick o

The Beach Boys I can take or leave, but Pet Sounds is quitessential! for sure. God Only Knows, Sloop John B - those are 2 of my favorite BB songs. GOK is probably my very favorite. I also like the Still Cruisin album, but overall, I can only do small doses of the BB much like the Doors and Hendrix - it's just too damn redundant for me......and this coming from someone who used to love th

Never understood the appeal of this guy. Saw him once and it was horrible!! Couldn't understand a damn thing he was singing or playing. But at least I can say I saw him once - thank God Paul Simon was also on the ticket and saved the concert!!

The superbowl and press conference at Julliards would be great to have too and the Churchill Downs show - was that filmed? I thought it was. Wouldn't rule out that one.

I was just listening to Eileen on the way into work this fine Thursday morning! I hear the Happy guitar in there, which is also the same guitar that I hear on Don't Stop. It's amazing how much sound is repeated thru the years!!

Have to disagree with you there, ChelseaDrugstore...to me the guitar solo is what makes RnR what it is. If you think about all of the great, great songs over the years that have been written, they all have a break in the middle for a solo, and most of them stick out in one's mind for that memorable lick in the middle. But, how many of today's songs stand out like that with a memorable

The problem for me with modern Rock and Roll is that the guitar solo is gone from all of the "THE" bands as I like to refer to them: The Hives, The Strokes, The The The The The - it goes on and on. Mind you I rather like the Hives out of this bunch of THE bands, but overall, there is no more guitar solo in the Rock played on the radio. I think the last great, classic-rock trained ban

I have no qualms admitting that I love Bon Jovi - they were one of my favorite bands growing up in the mid to late 80's and I still love em - one of the only bands other than the stones that I've seen more than once.

Rlngstns, Unfortunately, no I am not. Went over last year, and would give anything to get to go back this year. Positively absolutely fell in love with London and all it had to offer (Paris was a different story - sorry to all the French people on here, but I'd been told time and time again how sorry I'd be to not be spending more time in Paris, and after being in London for 4 days,

I live in NY State as well and I wanted STONES for my license plate, which was taken, so I had to go with STONES62. You can look for it at any given show in the Northeast when they tour because I always take my gas-guzzlin Dodge Ram to the shows to show off that plate!!

Say it ain't so Joe!!! Ugh! Now I'll have to search much much harder!!! Several of the DVDs seem no longer available too! Why or why did I fall behind!!
