Anyone able to make out any of the words? Is there any chance - IF the album is in the can - that Mick is actually working on another solo album now that there's no tour this year??

Quoteribbelchips Metallica's Load was considered a disappointment compared to their 'black album' when it was just released, but in hindsight, it wasn't that bad at all. St. Anger and Lulu were yet to come For me, St. Anger is a very underrated album.

QuoteGerardHennessy QuoteRocky Dijon I suppose the bigger question is who is assessing their legacy? The band has relevance primarily to a fan base that is already at or rapidly approaching retirement age. I used to believe Danny and the Juniors were correct, then I lived long enough to realize most of popular culture fails to stand the test of time. Bang on! 100%. Its all of supreme importance

Quotefrankotero Take into consideration Let It Be. Personally I never loved that album but it never affected my love for The Beatles. Plus they’re still kind of popular I’ve always loved Let It Be myself. My 2nd favorite of theirs and a mighty fine road trip album!!!

For me Goats is the 3rd best album in their catalog. I’ve always loved and it only grew with the release of the Super Deluxe and those Glyn Johns remixed songs.

I sure do miss The Black Crowes. Been a fan since the very beginning with them. Not always enamored with every album they put out - for me some missed the mark, but the vast majority of their catalog is really friggin great. Wish they would have included more of the original band members for this reunion of sorts.

Thank you. Yes, IORR, and the Stones themselves, have always been my refuge. The soundtrack to my - and most of us - life, and there is a song for every emotion and moment to help one thru. And while I know I take a bashing for some of my favorites - albums and songs - I know we do all share a love and passion here, and for the most part, it's mostly - most of the time - a judgement fre

Yes, I know you were, treacle. It's just a really sore spot for me still. I woulda never remarried if I'd thought there'd ever be a chance to end up divorced again. Thought I'd done it all right the second time, but apparently not. The toxic relationship has really damaged me. I'm honestly not sure that I'll ever fully recover from it. There was so much physica

Quotefrankotero Hey, I'm having difficulty myself to justify buying anymore of these outrageous releases. Actually been that way for a long time. Trying not let bad vibes/agenda enjoy my love of music is starting to be a challenge. We Didn't Start The Fire, well said Billy! It was quite shocking just how expensive all of the records were on RSD. Now granted they were all 2LP's

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteVoodooLounge13 I was able to sell my Billy Joel album on ebay. As much as it's an interesting release, and if not for buying a house, I would have kept it, but I was focused on 3 albums only, and that was a splurge that I really couldn't do at the moment. That $50 can be put to better use on something I need for the house. I'm quite happy it sold so quic

Quotesnoopy2 Quote1963luca0 The EU edition includes the poster, the Canadian edition doesn't; very easy to distinguish, indeed I also realized the Canadian edition isn’t really swirled vinyl.. Each one comes with a Nanaimo bar that in their wisdom (?) they inserted with the album and got squished against the vinyl.. You can lick bits of the album before each spin What is it then?

Quotesnoopy2 The super-secret song on side 4 of the Winos double LP is very creative, it really allows you to hear whatever music and lyrics you want to hear, makes you feel part of the experience.. Am I the only one who didn’t realize this double LP was really a 1 1/2 LP? Guess the Winos didn’t have enough material for a full four sides (I ain’t complainin’, I’m only bitching) I also

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteVoodooLounge13 I got both of them as well - Vintage Vinos and BB. Also picked up Dio for my oldest son and grabbed a copy of Billy Joel’s album. Was gonna get the Taylor Swift one to resell but decided not to. The first person in line at the Newburyport comics I went to got there at 1am!!! That’s just nuts. I've read 75000 copies, and 115000 copies of the Swift re

So going back thru the list again this am, I might be interested in grabbing a copy of the Billy Joel release if I happen to see it, but not going to go out of my way to get one. The Norah Jones release looks interesting as well. Beyond that though, it's really just the main 2 I'm after.

For me, Nashville, it's just the 2 Stones-related releases. I was a bit disappointed this year. If I see it, I may grab the Dio one for my oldest son. Dio's his favorite singer.

And I’m always amazed by those who can see all the shows on a tour and buy everything. I wonder what it is that those folks do for a living that they can afford such luxuries but I don’t begrudge anyone what they do in life. Happy for those that can do it. Before my first divorce, I followed the band around on the ABB tour and that’s how my show count really is what it is these days. I saw 7 show

How many more PPV's have yet to be released? That's really more of what's indicative to come still, I would think. Not much work involved in getting those ready to officially release. Also, we just got Grrr Live in February so we've had a new release this year already.

I gave the new Wembley live album a listen yesterday and I must say, I found it to be quite good. Will have to pick it up if the price ever comes down. The 2CD/Blu-ray is nearly as much as the vinyl currently!!!
