This is a bit of wishful thinking and a way to cope with the lack of news that is getting me more worried by the day. But others seem to have engaged in it before, so I will give it a shot: 1. Rocks Off (People are surprised, but it has been used as an opener before I think) 2. Rip this Joint (Hmm, that's interesting; two Exile songs that are not uncommon, but back to back...) 3. Shake

I don't know how anybody can say that Some Girls is underrated. It's their best selling album ever!

I think the biggest problem with Goat's Head Soup is its timing. It comes right after what many call the "Golden Age" -- and it doesn't really compare with the albums that preceded it. But it's damn good anyway.

I think Bridges to Babylon is pretty underrated.

To me, this seems really like no news at all. I never bought the argument that the "evil" Stones camp likes to keep us in the dark and has some ulterior motive for delaying the announcement of new tour dates as much as possible. I have always suspected that we don't know because they don't know. If anything, it's in their interest to get this over with, schedule new dates

Also, "All Sold Out" might fit the bill. And one of my personal favorites - Under My Thumb - talks about change in a different direction.

Well, our boys' "Respectable" deals with that theme, though it is probably about hypocrisy more than it is about real change.

Who the hell is Pete Doherty anyway? Seems to me he's a hack trying to make up for lack of talent with cheap stunts worthy of the paltriest English tabloid. Who knew that doing heroin in public could have made me so rich...

The group in question is Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church, based out of Topeka, Kansas. They used to come to our campus (I got my BA at the University of Kansas) almost every week to call everyone who walked by a fag. Their activities started by picketing the funerals of homosexuals who died violent deaths related to hate crimes (like Matthew Shephard in Wyoming); now they have turned to

Good luck man. Stay safe. Whether one agrees or not with the decisions of those who are sending you there, you are doing a great service (at the end of the day, hopefully for the Iraqis most of all). Come back in one piece.

The thing is that - at least from an artistic/creative standpoint - Mick is nobody without Keith and Keith is nobody without Mick. Sure, they have occasionally recorded some decent solo songs, but a far cry from the "greatest show on earth" they put on when they are together. I can imagine Mick would be upset, but unless he has decided that his career will just be made up of cameo apper

I'm not only satisfied; I am incredibly grateful. My life without their music would have been much different. I have sometimes been heard saying that the Rolling Stones are not a rock band; they are a way of life. Bit of a hyperbole, maybe, but not that far from how I really feel. That said, I think some nitpicky criticism is warranted and fun; it also provides us with a way to express w

True, we do have to deal with it. But I don't think that what we read there has any more value than the speculations that any of us may venture to put forth - especially considering they have a clear financial incentive to emphasize any conflict that might or might not be taking place. I agree that the story is "realistic," but it is also the case that the difference between "

Again, I don't think that a shrill tabloid newspaper like this should be our source of information on the relationship between band members. Note that when you visit their website, the title of the page is "The Daily Express: The World's Greatest Newspaper." The horoscope is the fourth item on their main menu... Also, I find the recurrent drumbeat about Mick's greed to

The article is pretty damn good news if you ask me. I am not going to lose any sleep over them having to give up a few million bucks, but canceling "only" 5-6 shows sounds like a pretty good scenario considering how grim the situation looked a few days ago.

The biggest venues are Kemper Arena and Arrowhead Stadium in MO (Kemper is literally one block east of the border). However,
