271. Re: Hi
The first purchase has got to be a live album: Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out and Live Licks are quite possibly the best among them.

To my knowledge, none of these bands have played there after the shit hit the fan again in 2000. Two years ago, Madonna cancelled her three shows in Israel citing security concerns.

The Stones are as big a symbol of Western culture as there is these days, so I believe that the security measures that will have to be taken would be quite a nightmare if they were to play a stadium show. You don't see Georg

With all due respect, I think that's a terrible idea.

Well, yesterday it was Bon Jovi, today it's David Gilmour talking out of his @#$%&. Interesting: last time I checked he was on tour too, promoting some piece of shit album. Gilmour urges Stones to quit Tuesday May 30, 09:30 AM By WENN Pink Floyd star Dave Gilmour has told The Rolling Stones to quit touring and "get a life". Gilmour, 60, insists the veteran stadium

I don't know what his beef is with the Stones. They may be in their 60s, but they still put on the best show there is to see. And their new material may not be Exile quality, but it's certainly better than anything Bon Jovi EVER put out.

Here's an article with some truly perplexing statements made by Jon Bon Jovi on the Stones: Bon Jovi: 'I won't be like The Stones' Monday May 29, 11:50 AM By WENN Rocker Jon Bon Jovi finds the aging Rolling Stones a musical embarrassment and vows to retire at the right age. The Keep The Faith singer wants to grow old gracefully away from the stage and admits

I find the comparison between last year (before the tour was announced) and this year to be a bit worrisome. If I can remember correctly, last year this website had dead-on accurate information about the upcoming US tour well before any dates were officially announced. This year, there is no information to speak of that hasn't already been issued through official pronouncements. I am not sur

289. Re: @#$%&
Song Review by Bill Janovitz Taking one of the well-worn pages from their Chuck Berry songbook, the Rolling Stones raunch it up on their famous putdown of a woman as a "@#$%&" — which was the song's original title until pressure from legendary Atlantic Records (who distributed the Rolling Stones Records imprint) honcho Ahmet Ertegun forced the band's hand. I completely agree. The No Security cd has, indeed, some real gems. I would also submit that the versions of Gimme Shelter and You Got Me Rocking are the best out there. Love Thief In the Night, too.

Tomk To copy and paste is certainly a good way to quote someone out of context. I take the "I watch with glee..." line to be an indictment of both sides of a conflict who claim to have some kind of god on their side. Jihadists certainly do - and this is quite obvious - but there are some people on our side (like prominent generals and *some* conservative politicians) who make tho

Not a problem. I make a living studying politics and teaching political science, so referring to it as "bullshit" hit a nerve that was perhaps a bit too sensitive to begin with.

Not sure about what kind of doctor you are, but when I listen to a song - as for every piece of art - I want to know what the hell it means. Sounds rather incurious for a doctor. Are you a proctologist?
