China Girl I thought was an exception........but his last great studio work from beginning to end was Scarey Monsters; just after he had left Berlin and was finished with Brian Eno........but yes back to Jagger/She's the Boss......I just don't love the production sound from those 80's records...........and it's not just Jagger......there is a cheeze factor to many records duri

the problem I have with Shes the Boss is that you instantly recognize the decade............and that's a disappointment...........I think thats true for a lot of work around that time (80's)..........however, when his early solo stuff is compared to Wandering Spirit and Godess you really understand what a great songwriter Mick is.

ain't gonna happen. The Stones, especially as they've gotten older will only open the show with 1. notes that are instantly recognizable to fans and non fans alike with an iconic Keith riff 2. a song that re-confirms their rock royalty status ( a hit) 3. a song Mick can do in his sleep It's a formula that's worked for years so they ain't changing it until they have

......it'll never happen........Mick and Keith will never split their bill.....they'd retire first..........only if Willie wants to open for them.....but as far as touring together.....not in this lifetime.

Talk about an oldies act................that's in denial!!!!!!!!!!! I like some of Madonnas stuff (Ray of Light, Bed Time Stories the mature 90's material girl ve

I love Californication. It's a beautiful record. As far as bashing this band or new CD........get over it......this is a masterpiece.........as a previous poster already stated (out of my head)........................if only the Stones could pull out one more record that neared the brilliance of this one.............

I think that the units sold is incrdible considering the industry standard is now a 40 minute CD with 10 or 12 songs and a mandate to bring it in at $10.99 at retail. The Peppers nearly tripled the music which almost doubled the cost of the CD..............but the driving force is the first single and video especially (which is great) and this CD easily has another 5 monster singles in it. A qu

Well I think that's a key point......I think that when you discuss the Stones it's the about the big 6 and not the big 4 which is what differentiates them from mere mortal bands..............

The Worst is one of The Glimmer Twins most beautiful and poignant country rock songs ever................. Its so raw, so simple and so harmonious that it's glorious; not to mention its the perfect 2+ minute song. It's songs like this one that make them so great!!!!!!!!!!!!!
