It was a fantastic show in Lisbon last night. The guitars were LOUD and Keith was clearly on very good form, playing better than he has done since the Licks Tour. He seemed happy, confident and in control, stalking the stage during JJF and interacting warmly with Mick and the rest of the band. Mick was superb - he is singing better than ever on this tour and he really seems to be giving every son

Yes, I agree. I would add Street Fighting Man to that list. It's strange that they don't play it more often given how much they seem to enjoy playing it.

Another one to add to the list is She's so cold. Never a huge fan of this one live but the album version is good.

QuoteROPS Quotejohn lomax Bitch Brown sugar Rocks off l agree on Bitch and Rocks off,but some of the live versions of Brown Sugar with Mick Taylor in the 70's are amazing, and sound much better than the record... Yeah, I agree that some of those 72/73 live versions of Brown Sugar were awesome. Even the 78 version on the Live in Texas DVD is great. But these days something is lacking - per

Yes, you are right,I know it's not a scam....it's just a bit irritating to have paid the money and not heard anything since. I will try following up via his Facebook page.

I was thinking a great song to add to the set list for Europe would be "That's how strong my love is"

I don't know if the album is finished or not. But surely if I give the guy 100 quid over six months ago I am entitled to an update. And actually, if I recall correctly, the 100 quid was in return for some of his old CDs and a setlist...so no reason why he couldn't have sent those. I am worried that this is a scam.

Actually, just let me clarify - I paid about 100 pounds for some signed CDs and a setlist and haven't heard a thing since!! I am really quite pissed off about it actually.

I didn't like this new stage when I first saw the photos of it - it thought it looked a bit cheap and basic. But it is actually growing on me. And it is certainly better than the horrible stage that was used in Australia and South America for A Bigger Bang - I just had a look at some video as from the Sydney show and that stage was dreadful......and the lighting was terrible too - very dark

Man, that stage is horrible. It looks cheap and nasty, and the video screens look hopeless. It looks like the sort of basic stage that Springsteen would use - which is fine as his charges about a fifth of what the Stones charge. I know it's expensive to tour but surely they could have made a little bit more effort with the Stage?????

I'd love to see: - footage of the band on days off - rehearsing or sightseeing etc - Mick during Keith's set - the last 5 minutes before show time - the band leaving the stage and heading to their limos ( like they did in the New Jersey voodoo lounge videa) - soundcheck footage - any band dinners or parties

I think there are some great songs on the album. Too Far gone is my favourite - it would have made a great stones track. Lucky day has a great riff but the vocals and the chorus really let it down. A great example of a riff and groove that had a lot of promise but went in the wrong direction...
