in the recent Mojo article, Keith said he was taking Dilantin (an anti-siezure medcation) in the aftermath of his head operation. These are the side effects of Dilantin - which are made worse if combined with alcohol..... What are the possible side effects of Dilantin? $93 (Australian dollars - about 80 US dollars), April 1, 1995, Sydney Cricket Ground. I remember in the newspapers at the time Mick Jagger being quoted as saying the it was very important that tickets be kept below 100 dollars....8 years later in 2003 the same quality of seat cost 300 dollars, and in 2006 it was 350. I saw Mick solo in Sydney in 1988 and tickets for that were 38 dollars.

I don't have any feedback on the travel packages, but I did buy a hot seat package for Paris and have yet to receive my free gift, whatever that might be. Has anyone else who bought a Hot Seat package received their gifts yet?

I think Marclaff raises an interesting about whether Keith is better or worse on different guitars. I was thinking the same thing in Paris. All the solos he played on the big black or big white Gibsons he messed up (except for Rough Justice). But the solos he played on the yellow Les Paul special (Sympathy, Satisfaction) were two of the best I've ever seen him do. The big guitars are much he

Just got back from the Paris show. What a great show - the band were really enjoying themselves tonight and were in a loose and experimental mood. Some songs were a bit loose and few cues here and there were missed, but the band seemed so relaxed and comfortable that, instead of falling apart, they turned it into a positive and let the songs take on a new direction. Start me up was a great opener

look, I love Keith, and I love the Stones. i have followed them all around the world, and have seen them 25 times since 1995. I play guitar and my guitar style and inspiration is based on Keith's playing. And I have tickets this year for Paris, Dublin, and all three London shows. But we need to be honest here - the guy played like a complete amateur in Werchter. Admit it, it was complete

ticket sales are bad because people now realise that the stones are shyte and Keith is an old alcolohic who has contempt for his fans. No matter what they say about "its all for the music man" - it ain't, its quite clearly for the money.

Keith looked and played disgracefully at Werchter. We've all seen him drunk and wasted plenty of times before, but I've never seen him this bad. This is complete rubbish - how can anyone justify such ridiculously high ticket prices to see some drunk, shambolic wreck of a man, a former great guitar player who now plays....well, nothing, basically - seriously, the guy is no longer a gu

I was 17 years old and saw it from the second row of the Sydney Entertainment Centre. At the time, Mick and Keith weren't talking and so I thought Mick solo was the best I was ever going to get......since then I've seen the Stones 24 times - 12 times in Australia, 6 times in the US, once in Canada, once in Belgium, once in France, twice in Glasgow, and three times in London. Mick so

I loved the No Security tour. I flew from Australia to see both Boston shows. I had a ticket for the second show, and bought a great seat from a scalper for the first show. The stage design was "in the round", so some of the best seats were actually behind the band. I had a seat right behind Charlie and I could actually hear the band talking to each other between songs. I also reme

I am wondering why they've shortened the setlist to only 19 songs.....I'm sure that on the Licks tour they were playing 21 or 22 songs. Certainly on B2B and No Security they were doing 22. And I think on the opening show of the Voodoo Lounge tour they did 25?? Any thoughts?

I think Ronnie's playing on this is superb, and notice how he seems in control of the band on this one. This is fantastic - he really is a great musician and its so good to see him sober and on top form. I do think the horns are probably unnecessary on this one though - what they play is repetitive and unimaginative. Still, its great to see it in the set. And You Got the silver is an abs

the only obstructions on the field are the lighting towers which, of you are seated next to them, can block your view of the b-stage. However, I bought two "obstructed view" seats next to the lighting otwer in glasgow for only £60 each (thats about 100 USD) and they were only a few rows behind the £150 ($300) seats....I had a perfect view of the main stage and was only a short walk to

The version in Melbourne was brilliant - Keith's guitar playing was sensational (using his replica of his specially-built 5 string guitar from the 70's), and Ronnie did a fine job of mimicking the original Mick Taylor solo. Easily one of the best moments in any of the 20 Stones gigs I've seen.

I just wanted to add some of my thoughts about the Melbourne show. It was my 20th Stones gig - I've seen them all over the world since 1995, including 11 shows in Australia, and I have to say this gig ranks as possibly the best I've ever seen. The only one that might beat it would be the Enmore Theatre gig where they opened with Midnight Rambler. The setlist was fantastic - to hear

I'm having my tix for the Melbourne show mailed to me here in London......after all the stuff thats gone on with e-Tix, I'm a bit worried that they may not arrived. Has anyone else had experience with having their tickets mailed to them from overseas???? I had an email from e-Tix saying they's posted my tickets on 26 March - how long do you think it will take for them to get to

He is playing in open E on R&R circus, but has switched to open G by the time of the Hyde Park gig. Note, however, that in the Hyde park gig he doesn't seem to have taken off the bottom E string. By the end of 69 (Ya Ya's) he is playing 5 string open G.

The Daily Telegraph in Sydney is saying that the Stones will tour Australia in April 2006. The paper quotes a local promoter who has said that the planned gig in Auckland has opened up a two- week window in which the Stones could play major markets in Australia (most likely just Sydney and Melbourne).
