I agree. From the opeing chords of "Gimmie Shelter" to the last note of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" My favorite one-two punch on this album is "You've Got the Silver" and "Monkey Man" what a great contrast of songs!

I don't think it's underrated at all. It's a great album, it just suffers from being the next release after Exile...Black and Blue now there is an overrated pile of shit.

Beggar's really galvanized the Stones at the time. Jumping Jack Flash was a huge hit, and very important to the survival of the band itself. Beggar's was a testament to their staying power. Also don't forget that the Beatles at the time were really floundering (this was just before the release of Abbey Road...that is) Rumors of their iminent breakup were everywhere, and everyon

Here's a thought Do you think that because of the outrageous ticket prices of the last 10-15 years, the Stones have in-part been releasing a live album/video/Pay Per View of every tour since '1989, so the fans that couldn't afford to see them in person still get a chance to enjoy the show? I mean their live albums haven't been "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out" quality

She's So Cold. Let Me Go, honestly didn't take notice of this song until I heard the Still Life version Down in the Hole, great song, and probably just under She's So Cold for Best track. I agree that this album get's downed more than it should, Dirty Work is their only truely bad release in my opinion. Emotional Rescue does not sound as dated to me as Steel Wheels
