QuoteRollingFreak Again, should make it clear I really enjoyed the release. Deep cut after deep cut, even if most were pretty standard for those theater shows on that tour. Its a really fun listen to get something different than just warhorse after warhorse. They sound great and its an immensely fun show to hear to hear something diferent from them. I just don't assume I'll ever really

QuoteMunichhilton Glad to see this one is not at a racetrack...Austin was rough. Not as bad as Altamont but y'know Zilker Park > Circuit of the Americas They did play at the massive Texas Motor Speedway in ‘97. —cavernous place with a strange line up, Matchbox 20 (remember them?), Dave Mathews Band, Smashing Pumpkins and The Stones. Stones put on a fun show with good setlist

This is played for all the NFL, and College Football bumper music between commercials. Gets stuck in my head, not that that’s a bad thing.

The increased tempo in the songs takes a bit of adjusting to, but certain songs it really elevates in a different way. Miss You is sped up, and it gives the song a different vibe. Not bad, good and in a different way.

Wow Kid Kilowatt How miserable it must be to not enjoy a song for what it is, rather than what it’s not? I hope that never happens to me. It’s only Rock N roll

Isn’t ABKCO in control of this recording and all of Beggar’s Banquet? Seems like a way for ABKCO to steal some of the Stones’ thunder and throw some shade on them to the WOKE who’s be offended by Stray Cat Blues prior to the release. At the end of the day, much ado about nothing

QuoteRollingFreak Its absolutely horrible, and unlistenable crap to me. Almost makes you question what you like about the original till you put on the original and realize "right, Wright, Gilmour and Mason are excellent on the original." Its an interesting experiment because, more than any album in their catalogue to me, it was the amalgamation of these 4 guys. The other albums all lean

QuoteTravelinMan Whats the story behind the 1972 compilation being played on radio Cleveland? As a native Ohioan, I find this really interesting. Brussels is always talked about, but I am just finding out about this. What WMMS probably played was a bootleg, they had done it before. They played Led Zeppelin Destroyer, a well known bootleg from the 1977 tour stop at Richfield Coliseum.

Quotesouldoggie QuoteMathijs I always wonder how people can say they were at a 'bad' 1975 or 1978 show, and then say the 1994 or 2002 or 2014 show was excellent. Any 1975 or 1978 show is about 100 times better than any show after 1990. There simply is no contest. Mathijs Totally agree. Cleveland '75 and Cleveland '78 were absolutely fantastic shows. Based on the scorching/melting heat of Desert Trip 2016, I imagine it will be blazing hell!
