Love The Who, saw them in ‘79, and again in ‘82. Those two albums with Kenny were mostly duds, but there were flashes on each. Onstage, they were still a force. Couldn’t see them again until 2016 at Desert Trip and not surprisingly they smoked. There was rumblings in 2016 that they were done touring. Some of their road crew were on the flight out of Palm Springs and said they think they mi

QuoteHairball Average album at best. A couple of decent tunes here, and several terrible tunes there, while the rest fall somewhere in between. Equal to the other latter era albums as they all have a similar amount of positives, negatives, and elements that fall in to no mans land. And like the other latter era albums, impossible to listen from start to finish without grimacing at various poin

My experience was excellent. First time I attended a tour opening show They sounded fantastic in Houston and only got better throughout the tour Thought they pulled off the 2024 tour on a legendary level…they had something to prove and did it.

What an incredible tour!, regardless of their age. They sounded great, the guitar tone they both get is simply incredible. Mick was in form from Houston. They mixed up the setlist, Keith eventually sang 3 songs! The crew, and sound team brought their ‘A’ game each night. The Stones seemed to enjoy playing with each other and onstage at each stop on the tour. I only got to go to Hous

I don’t know, $100 for some magic marker doodle seems a bit much. As well as saying they’re hand painted, it’s magic marker…something anyone can do in an office conference room.

QuoteRayHongus So came across this vid from the 97 B to B tour. This is new to me because I only thought the Bremen and buenos aires shows were remastered in official quality. But i cant find any more info on the official release of this show. Just crappy bootleg quality stuff. Where can i find this? The sound is really good so id love to have the full show. Thanks! Quotegeorgemcdonnell314 I have stated this before several times that the song vote is just BS. They rotate the same songs over and over and basically just play what they want so what is the point. There is so much they could give us but instead of giving us what we want the give us what they want us to have. I voted one time this tour and now think it is just a waste of time. I a

QuoteFeelslikeaGhost Okay everyone! Here’s my review of the show last night! Last night was my 3rd Rolling Stones concert ever, which may not sound like a lot but In my defense I am only 20 years old. However maybe my age and experience with the band can offer a new perspective here on IORR Me and my dad sat in section 117, right up next to the stage. We sat amongst a diverse crowd of fans

Had a great time, tour kick-offs are great for not knowing the setlist. Although I was expecting two Keith songs, Shattered, Monkey Man and another tune from Hackeny…Dreamy Skies or Bite My Head Off. The “warhorses” sounded reinvigorated…YCAGWYW, & Miss You especially The ‘sound’ was phenomenal, crystal clear, not muddy, or too bottom heavy….mix was nicely balanced and spaced. The

QuoteRollingFreak Again, should make it clear I really enjoyed the release. Deep cut after deep cut, even if most were pretty standard for those theater shows on that tour. Its a really fun listen to get something different than just warhorse after warhorse. They sound great and its an immensely fun show to hear to hear something diferent from them. I just don't assume I'll ever really

Not as bad as Altamont but y'know Zilker Park > Circuit of the Americas They did play at the massive Texas Motor Speedway in ‘97. —cavernous place with a strange line up, Matchbox 20 (remember them?), Dave Mathews Band, Smashing Pumpkins and The Stones. The increased tempo in the songs takes a bit of adjusting to, but certain songs it really elevates in a different way. Miss You is sped up, and it gives the song a different vibe. Not bad, good and in a different way.
