which "Stones moments" have made you laugh?
Posted by: barcelona ()

At this moment there are four that come to my mind

1)The faces that Mick puts in Faraway eyes clip when he's singing the "I was driving home..." bit

2)Bill and Charlie facial expression In "Waiting on a friend" clip, when Mick is singing in the bar next to them.
They seem to say each other "Who the f*ck is this @#$%& ?" referring to Mick

3)Charlie picking the phone calls in the "She was hot"clip.

4)The scared to shit that Mick seems in the IORR clip as he sees the bubbles are coming up.

I attended the munich press conference in 2003. good laugh was when keith answered all the (silly) questions with the same answer: "it`s a secret"

I get a bigger laugh from Charlie in the IORR video. He gets buried in the bubbles!

Also Charlie in 25X5. He says his 25 years in the Stones have been "5 years of playing and 20 years of waiting around".

Mick singing "let's spend some time together" on Ed Sullivan, and rolling his eyes as he emphasizes "time".

Keith in "@#$%& Blues" ordering fruit, obviously stoned out of his head.

The Altamont scene in GS where the Hell's Angel is staring at Mick, looking like he's thinking "what a tosser".

Press conference in New York, Keith answering a question about the amount of money they were gonna earn this tour.

"Milions!"

And then Mick: "You're to english. Go home."

At the press conference in NYC 2005 - A reporter asks Mick on behalf of a teenage girl the following:

Reporter - She (the teenager) wants to know where you learned those hot moves?

Mick replies - From her mum.

Totally hilarious.

Every Keith interview is simply hilarious. The way he dresses up and is drunk and talks all kinds of nonsense with all those earrings and bracelets flying around his head always makes me laugh.

Yes.

Plus:
- Keith and Bobby throwing that TV out of the 12th floor
- Some movements of Mick in the video of "She's so cold"
- Mick's ape screams, especially in the 1970s live recordings
- Keith's appeartance in court: "We are not old men - we are not bothered by petty morals"
- Bill telling the true story of the 1964 gas station incident ("We piss anywhere man!")
- Mick's dance steps on stage, his lip work (e. g. imitating a sax player on the 1981 concert movie)
and more and more

The Rolling Stones are a great @#$%&' group and they sure are fun

In Altamont when they are playing and that fargin' dog walks across the scene. Just a reminder that anarchy ruled.
Mick and Keith in FF when they are in the van after the warm-up gig and they are all flushed like two little boys. And they look at each other like they still can not believe they are getting by with this.

In 1976 Keith arrives at Aylesbury End Court two hours late and asks the judge to excuse him for the delay because his trousers were at the laundry.

Judge's response to Keith...

"It appears quite extraordinary that a man of Mr. Richards' stature could only have one pair of trousers."

1) IORR video... Their clothing and the video's "punch"

2) Mick as the girl reading that corny breakup letter in Girl With Faraway Eyes. I always get instant flash from Flip Wilson doing his Geraldine Jones character!

3) Keith's line in that good press bit that was reproduced here at the beginning of the tour... It's my all time favorite from Keith's:
(Referring to the Stones playing at the NFL opening) Something like "Listen, I sang at Westminster Abbey at 11, so it's been just downhill for me ever since!"

Read this somewhere:

While on tour, a wasted Mick called Charlie's room and when Charlie answered, Mick asked "Is this my drummer?"

Charlie hung up, walked to Mick's room and knocked on the door.

Mick answered the door and Charlie punched him in the face, sending him flying across the room. Charlie told Mick "Don't ever call me your @#$%& drummer ever again."

Jagger's skit with Jimmy Fallon on SNL from 2001, where Fallon is Mick in the mirror. Classic.

Keith on the hidden feature in Pirates of the Caribbean. His pirate laugh is incredibly funny.

That's not true.

I always laugh during Neighbors in the LSTNT movie. Ronnie drinking backstage, and Jagger stick his watch right up to his face, and he seems so totally bacalmed. And a bit later when he runs on the stage, and Keith just stops playing untill he gets back.

Re: "Press conference in New York, Keith answering a question about the amount of money they were gonna earn this tour - - "Millions!"

Wasn't it Charlie who responded to that question?

I always enjoy Keith's retelling of the famous joke about only he and the cockroach being the lone survivors of a nuclear holocaust! - - "He'd better watch out, 'cause I'll eat him"!!

Ride like the wind at double speed.....

Actually, last Monday (Sept.26) in Toronto. During the second song I think it was, Keith just flung his cigarette butt over his right shoulder during the song. It was like "ahhhhh, who gives a crap!" That type of attitude. Very funny when shown on the large screen.

Also, some moments in the LSTNT movie. Especially any that deal with Ronnie! Like running up behind Jagger on stage and trying to piggy-back him. Funny thing is, Mick just bent over and Ronnie went for a tumble, if I recall that scene correctly.

Some real hilarious stuff!smiling smiley

- Mick impersonating Keith on Point/Counterpoint with Mike Myers on SNL

- Tom Hank's monologue on SNL when Keith was the musical guest. Tom tells Keith that on of his band got sick and that someone should clean it up.

- At the press conference for Voodoo Lounge(I think), when the woman journalist asks if this is the final tour, and Mick starts clapping and going "thank you, thank you, who was it". And make the lady look like a total ass. That was awesome.

- The scene in 12x5 when Mick is talking about dressing up as women for the Have you seen your mother, record sleeve, how it didn't take much coaxing for them to do it.

- Keith's interview where he says about Mick "yeah, he's pissed" and then cracks himself up. Love that one.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Just remembered two more.

- The "patience please" picture is hilarious and totally cool at the same time. That to me is the ultimate Keith.

- When the girl drops her cigarette ashes into Keith's hair in CS Blues.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

The pic of Keith, obviously stoned out of his mind, leaning against the wall next to the "Keep America Drug Free" sign in Customs is @#$%& brilliant.

It may be true or not. But he said: "Don't ever call me your @#$%&' drummer again. You're my singer!"

I totally agree with you Cindy! Damn hilarious! lol Also the part in that same skit where "Keith" (Jagger) looks at "Mick" (Myers) and says "Mick, you ignorant slut!" I used to have the Best of Mike Myers on video tape with that skit on it but lent it to a friend...and never got it back!sad smiley

Of Course the moment when Mick was singing "let's spend some time together" on Ed Sullivan in 1969, and rolling his eyes as he emphasizes "time"...

Another moment: IN Hampton 1981 when a fan / hooligan runned over the stage, keith hit him with his guitar (During 'Satisfaction') and after that he plays further.. hilarious!!!
