This is great news. I would be happy with one a year. It's been far too long. Hope they're not going to change actors again. Daniel Craig was great in Casino Royale, imo.

Darn I bought Daltreys 24 bit download last night. It's not 24/96, it's 24/44. There's no mention of that when you buy it. So be careful out there.

Yes, a little buzz certainly helps the experience. Hence the motto Sex, Drugs and Rock And Roll. Just the sex is left out in this case, but not always, ha-ha.

Now we can wait to buy the Bluray upgrade as well. This is fun.

Please forgive my ignorance on how to paraphrase. The last sentance in the post above is mine. Also, I agree a section for politics and other thoughts would be a great idea.

Poor Denver, that face was too much. I really like the Husky too. What talent.

Like- get nearly all my Stones news/information here plus a lot of other news. Dislike- though it doesn't phase me too much anymore, was rudeness or maybe arrogance towards some of my posts, as well other iorr-ians.

Well said Mr Happy. But unfortunatley times are changing and I suspect we're a minority in that way of thinking. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun rockin' out anymore. We'll always have records and cds of our favorite bands. Personally I'm not concerned. For the last few years I've gone to the cd stores and looked at absolutely nothing unless it was releas

Hey maiannerl, I was at Letzigrund. That was a fantastic gig and great venue, also saw McCartney there the following year. The closest gig I saw in Germany was about 80 miles, and the farthest was NYC for the Licks tour. However, I would say the most laborious travel time was the drive to Denmark, 10 hours of literally driving too fast. Oh the things we do for The Rolling Stones!

By the way that's cool of Roger to offer that. I will definately check it out.

Forgot to mention that you can burn 24 bit wav files onto a playable CD, but it will be downsampled to 16 bit. Or you could burn them as 24 bit files, but once again you can only play these disc that support 24 bit technology.

Yes you can burn them as they are. The only bad thing is you can play it on a DVD drive, and your audio card or stereo must support 24 bit. The problem is this technology is still young. Plus there aren't many titles available in 24 bit. Maybe this is the future?

Where's Mick in all this? Surely he's responsible somehow.

Can't believe Charlie stuck his tongue out at Brian in 1964. No wonder he strayed away from the band.

Only thing that would keep me away is if they're all club shows with little or no chance to get in. No I'm not blonde or cute, or even female for that matter. Just a hard core Stones fan. I hope that's good enough.

None of them have given any indication that it's over. Though it's unlikely that they would return with a two year tour, I'm positive that there will be something happening next year.

Wonder why they can't leave it in 24 bit technology. Now that would be interesting.

Keef seemed ok to me. It's only one song so it's hard to tell his condition. Also didn't the singer ask the audience if someone had a guitar pick? Maybe that would of helped out a bit.

With technology and trends changing as fast as they are, I kind of doubt if people will be playing instruments in the future. Therefore, I don't think there would be interest in Rock And Roll. Then again I could be way off.

I have a picture of some friends and me holding Brians guitar (number 2). Not too shabby considering I could never own anything on that list.

I agree with you Doc, somehow that song survived Keefs troubles. I remember watching him closely on the b-stage (Werchter) while Ronnie and Darryl seemingly were coaching him through a song, think it was Satisfaction. Also he made a strange comment about hoping nobody should feel what he was going through, something like that. And at the end of the concert he stood alone and tossed some extra gui

Actually there are even 100 minute cdrs. I had a few, but haven't seen them for a long time now. I think for audiophile reasons it's not good to exceed 74 minutes.

Most of Werchter wasn't very good, but this song came across great. Followed by an outstanding transition into Tumbling Dice.

Don't give them any ideas Sam Spade, a lot of us won't get in if the tourist and scalpers hoard all the tickets. Come to think of it that's probably what will happen, considering how the club shows went.
