It's kind of like "The Killer" when he kicks his chair back, ha-ha. Wonder if Elton was thinking dammit Billy's drunk again!

I like the more recent photos. Especially the two of Mick from The Licks Tour (Munich), in a green fang tongue shirt with scarf. Also, there's a couple more I can't think of at the moment. But I agree there are several of the "usual" pictures, but I think the quality is improved on some of those. I don't mind the small amount of text. I pretty much know the story as most

Good conversation going on here. Interesting to see peoples different perspectives. Personally I find it strange that weed has been demonized while alcohol is somewhat tolerable/legal. I would also agree that Amsterdam is a great city minus the "adult' extras. I've been there about 20 times myself without smoking dope or indulding in prostitution. However, I've always admired

I regret not being able to see them at Roseland NYC in 2002. Then again it's not really my fault I couldn't score a ticket as most of them were taken by celebs and VIPs. However, it was nice to chat with a few fans outside the gig. Matter of fact that happened in Utrecht as well. There I could of gotten in if I was willing to wait in line overnight. So that would qualify as a regret. Th

I liked the UK MTV with Ray Cokes and Rebecca DeRuvo, that was as late as 1995. By 2000 it was over for me. They did some pretty good Stones specials for the Steel Wheels and Voodoo Lounge tours.

There's about ten I can think of but I wouldn't want to insult the others by naming just one. But on the other hand I can agree with your post as there are some really great contributors on this site. Hopefully they know they're appreciated.

Thanks for the insight on Bon Jovi in France. I was always curious why they played both shows. That's twice I had to suffer. Plus their name is on the ticket, dammit!

Anyone notice that Playboy almost always changes the celebrities image/look when they do the nudes? Rarely am I impressed with them. Thanks for posting though, I like to see the girls.

This is an H&M campaign here in Germany. Funny to see these posters all over.

I'm a true Stones fan, who wants to fight? But really I said it before that I love and depend on this board for a lot of information, even off topic stuff is good sometimes. Certainly I'm not alone. Of course there are some that are opposite, a fact of life. As hard as it may be sometime, ha-ha.

It's really great. Has a lot of pictures we're used to seeing (as usual) but even those are improved by quality and/or wider framed showing more scenery. Also, there are some super shots from more recent times that I've not seen before. The real suprise is the price, 15 euros! It's in all the Talia bookstores in Germany, hope it's everywhere else too. It's name is 50

DO NOT FORGET JOHN LENNON. HE WAS ROCK AND ROLL TO THE BONE !!!

I remember John on this day rather than his Birthday, Though Yoko has said publicly she would like to do this on his Birthday. I understand this logic but the shock of the news and what he meant to me is burnt into my skull. He was my mentor, especially around the time he died, that was when as I was at the peak of my John Lennon years. I was 17 years old, so his guidance was very important to me

John Lennon played in the Rock And Roll Circus, we all know that. But I'm pretty sure that was the only time aside from last night. You guys experienced a great moment in Rock And Roll history.

Wow that's a great suprise for all you that were there. Paul is really pulling out the stops on this tour. Did anyone notice if the concert was being filmed? I'm hoping for a Bluray DVD

Thanks for the pictures. Yeah, it was unusual (in my experience) that Paul would sign something from the stage. Maybe he's getting sentimental? Also it looked like they were filming the concert for a official release? Hope so.

Hopefully it will be properly preserved for future Rock And Roll fans to see and enjoy. Maybe it's worth it? I hope so.

Unfortunately All You Need Is Love is not a full song, but for what it's worth the transition from The Word is great. Also, he said "Badfinger" before going into Come And Get It, very special as I remember since a child this seemingly forgotten/overlooked band. Paul is delivering the goods, beleive me. Wonder what he will pull out of the goodie bag next year? Can't wait.

Just got home from Koln. In a few brief words I would say this was his best solo tour so far IMO. He even sang She Love You three times during All You Need Is Love. More highlights for me was Juniors Farm, The Night Before, Come And Get It, and The Word. Most the rest of the setlist have become standard, but somewhat revitalized in music and (background) video. I might add the guitars were up fro

QuoteHavo ---their greatest concerts i saw in the 1998-Bridges to babylon-tour and 2003--Fourty licks tour. i saw the stones in 1965--1973-1976-1978, but their 1998-tour , i prefer, even bigger bang was great! I know someone who saw them in Milano 1970. Said the same thing as you. Also I remember he said the sound from 1970 was terrible compared to the Babylon tour. I didn't want to belie

QuoteEdith Grove Type "George" in a Google search, and your first option that pops up is "George Harrison." This is also the case for Paul and Ringo. I would say Google rocks but John Lennon is somehow has dropped to the fourth entry.

George was a real good man. Really like how he stayed true to himself and didn't let fame dictate his life. I sense that he really would of prefered not to be a Beatle in the end. One thing that he said that often rings in my head is "what am I doing here". I suppose he was fed up with this world and can't blame him. RIP George.

There's been a lot of great performances through the years, imo Brussels stands out in front all others. I say that if I had to really choose. In the same way it's hard to pick a favorite song becasue there are so many. Life is good!

Well I went and bought it, after saying I wouldn't. Aside from it's lack of content (missed opportuniy as such) It's a beautiful box. Much better than the previous issues, as some iorr posters have already said. My copy also has the DVD synchro problem. Maybe it's the PAL region problem that I read about in a different post?

I noticed something simialar in Germany. Media Markt had the deluxe CD on release date, and Sturn had the Bluray combo package. Neither had both. Finally today I saw the Super Deluxe Box. Personally I believe this is the downsizing of cds on the market. Doesn't mean The Stones aren't selling music, imo.

Remember the day very well. My friends brought in a newspaper with the news and I we were suprised he never told he had AIDS. At least I didn't know. Too bad besides being a nice person he was such a true talent. R.I.P. Freddie, hope he's enjoying the mega jam up there.
