Today I've experienced the funny fact that some people who frequently listen to Keith Richards call Jimmy Page sloppy.

I really don't like Bon Jovi and Nickleback, kind of radio pop. Or all those California surf punk bands made for teens. Or Ska punk or "world music" like Manu Chao; people who think it's nice to have a dozen whistling Indians on stage. Heavy Metal in general has always been a drag to me (Killmister still pretends to drink a bottle of Scotch a day, how sad is that). I'

I occasionally do songs like Out Of Time and All Down The Line but mostly Sinatra tunes under the shower, never recorded any of them, though.

I didn't see the clip, but I just want to make everybody undoubtable confident about the fact that I really hate Heavy Metal and everything about it. I even hate about 90-99 % of the AC/DC material.

Last time they did, in 2005 I think, Gimme Shelter won, followed by 9 other warhorses. Well, they didn't even pull out Gimme Shelter except a few times (US II, South America, Asia, NZ, that's good, every Shelter on the ABB tour I've heard (even the DVD version was worse or at best equal to Twicks 03) sounded lame and forced). They should do a cyber vote again, with a list of abou

Thanks Keefed, I forgot. Btw, I wouldn't count then as regular shows; it were all club shows with a lot of rarities in very hot rooms.

In Hanover 2006 I was disappointed when Keith announced "Slipping Away" and when they started "You Got Me Rocking" on the B-stage. I have hoped for "She's So Cold", "This Place Is Empty" and "Get Off Of My Cloud" or "Paint It Black".

They did 19 song sets also in 2003 during most of the Australian and European legs and in 2006 on nearly every show after London, including the US dates. This time was the first tour since 1989 that had 18 song-sets (Halifax, Budva, Budapest, Bucharest). Vienna and Austin in 2006 got 21 songs though.

I bother cause they performed the songs only very few times. This topic is about the best setlist of the tour.

" You have something to look forward to. Bridges To Babylon was great. But this is unique. Hard hitting. Great guitars. Less brass. Less backup. More Stones. And with one more week of rehearsals still in Toronto, it will be even better, if possible. Enjoy the tour - soon it will come to a place near you! " This is taken from a review of the Phoenix Theatre show in 2005. What's

On Licks they did at least When The Whip Comes Down, Mannish Boy, Beast Of Burden and Let It Bleed on it, the versions of Brown Sugar at the arena shows are the best I've heard since 1973. It's surely boring and meaningless to play the warhorses there in order to shorten the setlist or play it safe. On the ABB tour one could be glad to get one of the few Get Off Of My Clouds !

BtB is my favourite Stones album since Undercover. And it was the album with the best live songs since Tattoo You (Out Of Control, Flip The Switch, Anybody Seen My Baby ? (crowd going wild for this!), Saint Of Me, Thief In The Night, You Don't Have To Mean It, Might As Well Get Juiced, Low Down, Already Over Me, How Can I Stop ?).

I really can't understand the setlist policy of the Euro 2007 leg. It start off well with Shattered, She Was Hot, It's All Over Now, Heartbreaker, Some Girls, Sweet Virginia, Love In Vain, Waiting On A Friend and every single one disappeared after the first few weeks of the tour. Then we got even more IORRs, Miss Yous and YGMRs. How can anybody defend such an unartistic, lazy, crappy

This is something I just don't understand. Why does nearly everybody hate that song ? It's a perfect funk song, for me one of the very few highlights of the Euro 2007 tour. I think the song is perfect for the Stones, the version is simply great. And it's got some killer horn licks. "You gotta live for yourself, yourself and nobody else !" That's the performance

I think the weakest point of the DVD is the fact that it really lacks some rare stuff and songs never released before. Technically TBB is better, but musicaly, FF rules.

If they really stop touring it's the end of a great era. I often critize they setlist, but they have done hundreds of great shows since 1989, not to speak of the time before. If the rumours are true, it's really sad, I just saw a tv programme about Sinatra's last performance in Fukuoka, the band and the crew were not told it was the last time, but everybody knew, the Stones shoul

I've heard English fans are already preparing some big letters saying "Dankeschön" - that's a good start for us I would say. I think we will always defeat England at Wembley, it's god's justice regarding 1966.

Just watched the Bremen 1998 DVD and I must say that KR on the DVD has not much to do with KR as seen on the 2007 Euro leg. He looked about 50 years younger than today and his performance was just great. He looked so cool, razorsharp and skinny back then. He really got old between No Security and Licks, and perhaps a little bit more with his Monkey Man affair. This is not supposed to be some
