I just watched the Hampton Roads 1981 DVD and I think that Jagger's physical performance (Not voice) was on it's peak then. Everything he does looks spontaneous and a bit forced. He seems to see his appearance a little bit ironic.

I also once read that Keith was dating with Uschi Obermaier in 2002. I don't that he would leave Patti for such a wreck.

821. Why?
Why do they edit and cut all their live stuff? Why? Why? I just listened to VGPs Hampton Roads bootleg and thought to myself that the sound quality is much better than on "Still Life". On "Still Life" they use two songs from Hampton; "Let's Spend The Night Together"and "Time Is On My Side". Just take "Time Is On My Side" from the Bootleg a

I was also shocked when I first listened to Exile. I thought: "OK, 2 or 3 nice songs but a bit overrated". That is 3 years ago and now I really love it.

I really love the way of performance of the Stones, especially since 1981, when Keith really became the 2nd frontman of the band. I understand that anybody is bothered by people who are nailed onstage (Strokes etc.), but some of them and especially Bob do it in a very very cool way that is as good as the Stones' way of performance.

Bill Wyman says in his "Rolling Stones Book" that they have played it a few times on the 1978 US tour. Never heard a boot from any of those mentioned shows.

Does anybody know the German band PUR? They are the worst group of people that ever dared to call themselves a band. All their songs are about family, their wives, little children and pets. In Germany they play big stadium gigs. Sometimes I love to hear one of their songs, but that's not because I like it a lot, it just reminds me on certain beautiful persons/things in my life.

Following Robert de Niro in the Tony Scott picture "The Fan", SMU was recorded in February 1978 in NYC. But he also said that "Shattered" was recorded in December 1977 in the same town. I found it a bit strange to watch 'cause all the SG stuff was recorded in Paris. And I also thought that SMU was recorded in 1975/76 in Munich or Amsterdam.

They should do "You Never Can Tell", it would also be a great opportunity for Bill to be a guest on stage when they play it live.
