From what I gather, Jagger and Bill remained friends, although Bill said after his truncated live guest appearance in 2012 that they 'never forgave him for leaving', so there's definitely mixed feelings (emotions?), probably still to this day. Bill stood up for Ronnie to become a full band member before the 1989/90 tour, so I can't imagine anything bad between them.

Quotecrholmstrom The Gorge has a capacity of about 20,000. Seemed like a lot for the Horse these days. Added to stuff in previous posts is they are doing a big construction project on the I-90 bridge at Vantage. Delays & detours are promised all summer. Wow sounds like an all-around traffic sh*tshow to me. If I do go, I'll stay off-site and take hwy 2, which makes sense anyways since I

QuoteRollingFreak Quotemosthigh Tons of tickets, including pit, available for The Gorge. Might be too much of a hassle / trek for a lot of boomers, or maybe it will be more of a last-minute thing. Jeez, they've barely sold anything! Thats crazy. Its not even THAT expensive, once you get past the platinums. It's in the middle of nowhere (everybody knows), and poorly run by LN, often

QuoteWoz Quotekeithglimmer Quotetreaclefingers It's possible she's forgotten, but unless you have evidence to the contrary why assume she's wrong? Good point. I'm probably the one who is mistaken. I've always understood the Altamont show was planned quickly, on the fly. Resulting in the problems. Maybe I'm wrong.....I thought I was wrong once ,but I was mistaken...

RIP. He was such an integral part of their 'cosmic' sound, and they were never the same without him.

QuoteNashvilleBlues Quotemosthigh Apart from a gig tonight in Nashville, the only Ghost Hounds tour dates are opening for The Stones in June. Seems like the only reason for their existence. Wonder what the turnout will be? I’m 25 minutes away and definitely will not be going. Haha!!! Funny they would have their only solo gig the same day they get announced as openers for The Stones.

Nothing too revelatory - a couple of interviews and a bit of concert footage. Hard to believe that was 18 years ago.

I didn't like the semi-circular screen directly behind the band in 2013. Was better when they shrunk it and moved it above the performers.

There's a bootleg called 'It's Only Goat's Head Soup' from 2006 which sounds pretty damn crisp to me, although I haven't heard every official release.

QuoteBeastyBurdeny QuoteDGA35 QuoteBeastyBurdeny Snagged tickets to Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. Can't wait Wow Beasty, a huge Neil Young fan! I might be going to the Ottawa show now too In 2019, I caught 2 acoustic solo shows in Vancouver, then caught 2 more shows with POTR in Seattle a few days later. Was great, but I was pretty Neil'd out after that.

So anyone got a code for the Live Nation presale today for Burnaby? The code for the previous presale dates was ENERGY. KEY might also be worth a try.

I like how at the end, where Jodorowsky said after he's gone, he hopes a cgi version is made, based on the storyboards. It still wouldn't have that 70's vibe, but it'd be cool anyways, probably.

QuoteBeastyBurdeny Snagged tickets to Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. Can't wait I checked the NYA ticket link for prices for Burnaby (Vancouver). Approx $125 including fees, yes? Seems like there's no pit for this venue, unlike most others.

QuoteBeastyBurdeny Quotemosthigh QuoteBeastyBurdeny QuoteMisterDDDD Booked a room walking distance to Deer Lake Park for the show, used to live not far from there a lifetime ago, but not familiar with the concert venue. Anyone been? Looking forward to this. It's basically a big field/hill, not massive by any means. Leaving by transit can be a bit of a shit show, so it's good you are

QuoteBeastyBurdeny Quotemosthigh Unconfirmed, but I saw the ticket price for Burnaby was $106. Probably before fees, but if true, that ain't bad. That's really decent, if so. I was getting ready for it to be 200 before fees. I wonder if they'll add a second Burnaby show. It's the last show of the Canadian leg and it's a fairly small venue, compared to the other outdoor

Quoteslewan Quotemosthigh Hope he still does some theatre shows on the West Coast. you should give up hope. There's simply no time frame for theatre shows on the West Coast. The summer tour(s) will be the Outlaw shows which run until mid September and in (later) fall it's rather likely that he'll tour Europe instead of doing another US tour Someone on another site said there

QuoteProfessorWolf i'm still dipping my toes into bowie's stuff but this is the best quality i've ever seen the 1980 floor show is this the official channel for the midnight special and if so does that mean this is an official release? Well, if this is indeed the last time around for Bob, I'm in for GA at The Gorge. Always wanted to see Wille, and Billy Strings ain't bad. John Mellencamp sounds pretty rough these days, though. They're playing Spokane WA Stadium and The Gorge back-to-back. Odd, as they're relatively close to each other.

I would have loved seeing Living Colour in 1989 Saw them open in Montreal. The sound was so bad, it was just a cacophony of echo. Watched them, but certainly didn't hear them. The Stones sounded fine, of course.

Only slightly Neil related, but Lukas Nelson & POTR had their truck full of gear stolen outside of a hotel in Seattle Monday night. The good news is they found the truck the next day with most of the gear there, intact. What was still missing was insured and easily replaceable (mixing board, pedals). Same thing happened with The Brian Jonestown Massacre in Portland, Oregon about 2 years
