They won't change things back now, but I would be willing to keep my Tier 2 ticket at a reduced price. Say £149 with the booking fees adjusted accordingly. I didn't buy the Backstage bar add-on, but those who did should certainly have that part of their ticket cost refunded.

There were also people posting on BST Hyde Park's facebook page requesting a plan of the layout before any tickets went on sale. Those requests went unanswered. If they had nothing to hide, why wouldn't they respond?

QuoteKarlos123 Quotenobodyimportant I want what I paid for, which is a good view of the stage without having to stay in one spot and try to keep my place for hours. Which will bring people with Tier 3 in a worse place. A bit egoistic, isn't it? You paid for something which doesn't exist. So take the refund. Someone has already come up with a good compromise, which is to give the fi

None of this helps me though, because I don't want a refund. I want what I paid for, which is a good view of the stage without having to stay in one spot and try to keep my place for hours. I don't care about the bars and food outlets, and I dont care about the special entry point, which is actually more inconvenient for me as I will be walking from Paddington.

QuoteTooTough Don´t know if this shows anything, but if the stage is the same (high!) and the seating chart we have now is the same when the Stones will play July 6, you can imagine what Tier 1 will be on that day. Imagine the smal black line as a fence to GA3: Good grief, you'd struggle even to see the video screen from that angle. And Tier 2 would be even worse.

QuoteBeast QuoteHarm How can you downgrade if the 95£ tickets are sold out? I've asked him this question - among others - in my reply to his stock e-mail. I'll be surprised if I get a response before Monday. It's just a matter of capacity. You count as a body whatever section you're in, and they can make the sections as large or as small as required. I got the standard

I'm just totally downcast by it all now. I was so looking forward to this, but it seems to me that I'd gain nothing from being in T2 now. All I wanted was a decent view and not to have to stay in the same place for hours and hours. Not bothered about a bar as I'll have to drive myself home at the end of the night. But looking at it now, if I don't get there early and stay

I'll take (Tier 2 in my case) in his configuration for the price of Tier 3, and that's my best offer.

I've sent him this. Who's with me? Dear Mr Hallett Your reply is unsatisfactory. I clearly stated that I had purchased a Tier 2 ticket. Let me remind you of the description supplied to prospective purchasers of Tier 2 tickets: "Tier 2 - access to an area closer to the stage than general admission" The map you enclosed clearly shows that the Tier 2 area is NOT

QuoteTopi This has to mean the Bon Jovi "circle" setups are not true either? Well, quite. Quoting from th einfamous email which i too have received: QuoteYou are correct that there will be a section in front of the stage that can be accessed by those with General Admission Tier 3 tickets. This will be the same as any other gig He makes no mention of Tier 2 which is what I clear

What worries me is that several people were asking for a map of the layout on BST Hyde Park facebook page, before any tickets went on sale - yet there was no reponse. Why not, unless they had something to hide? I just cannot understand why they would not put up a diagram from the beginning. Also if the map on Twitter is fake, why don't they make a public statement, and reply to all thos

QuoteGreen Lady I'll admit to just a touch of malicious glee that for once the toffs might not have managed to hog all the goodies by waving fistfuls of fivers - but there's probably some explanation that isn't obvious from the "bottleneck" diagram. Anyway, I got what I paid for! I'm no "toff", I've been saving up for this after not being able to af

QuoteThroughTheLonelyNights Quotedrbryant Well, if there's a silver lining to this chaos, perhaps the scalpers will take a bath on those diamond and gold tickets. Now I´ve got an idea: this is all done on purpose, it has system: The scalpers will not be able to sell those overprized tickets and on showday everything will be like we originally thought...... .... but with a much small

QuoteBowieStone I think the new lay out is a reaction to the reports they refer to on their facebook page: "Contrary to reports in the press, if you buy a £95 ticket to see the Stones in Hyde Park you have the opportunity to go right to the front of the stage, where the action is!" Yes, but that could still be true with the Bon Jovi-style layout. People with GA can still get to

Quotebeepee2 QuoteSister Marie Bah if they "open" the doors from the reserved areas just before people enter in the GA far away from the stage, the word "access" makes sense. I think it's a question of time. ? Probably the reason why the newspaper wrote this thing about the running to the front row. That still doesn't make sense, because the barclays unwind have

QuoteBeast Also - there WAS a layout on Ticketmaster, right?? So anyone who bought tickets on there this morning would have been going by that layout - which does not conform to the new layout. So that is mis-selling. That layout was up on Ticketmaster yesterday. As they are one of the ticket agents, it was reasonable to assume that the plan was correct even if you then bought through another

QuoteGibson668 Sadly they/someone has counted on people stumping up hard earned cash without checking what they were actually buying..Dangerous assumption that it would be the same set up as BJ the day before..just glad I didn't pull the trigger on the more expensive tickets..Sorry for those who have and feel they've been ripped off...Caveat Emptor! I don't want my money back though - I want what I paid for! They will have to revert to the earlier configuration, surely? Still allows Tier 3 people to get to the front, albeit at the sides.

I've just sent them an email querying the positioning. If this is correct they have sold tickets under a fraudulent description. "Tier 2 - access to an area closer to the stage than general admission"

JUST A COTTON-PICKIN' MINUTE!!! I bought "GA Tier 2 - access to an area closer to the stage than general admission" So what the hell is this about? QuoteMr Hallett promised that anyone who has secured the basic £95 ticket will be able to get a ringside view on July 6. “The band wanted the regular ticket-holders to be right at the front of the stage staring at the whites

Well, I am not bothered about being right at the front, but I don't want to have to stay in the same place the entire day to keep my spot. I am only 5'1" so don't want to be stuck at the back of the field where I'll see & hear nothing. So I'm happy with Tier 2, means I'll be not too far away but able to move around a bit.

I got mine without any problems. I made an account with them a few days ago so my address etc was already stored (not card details though) - think that paid off today. Decided to get Tier 2 rather than just GA, not fussed about being very near the front but pray I won't be as far back as I was stuck at HRC last year. At least I'll be able to come and go without losing my place enti
