Well, that's updated hourly. An hour ago this was true. But now it has dropped to #30, and was overtaken by Bieber's Christmas album which is at #29. Maybe in an hour it will be ahead again.

Quotegeorgelicks QuoteNoCode0680 QuoteZantiMisfit I guess this puts an end to any more "Deluxe Editions"! Yeah, because every time a band has an album that sells poorly they just quit. I'm not so sure the figures are that bad though. Sales keep rising on Amazon, it's up to #27 and rising, and has been in the "Top 100" for 35 days. It's outselling Justin Bie

QuoteZantiMisfit Doesn't bode well for a tour I'm afraid...interest just isn't there anymore. I didn't think it would sell THAT badly. They'd be lucky to sell-out Hard-Rock Cafes. What a shame... Tours are usually done to support an album, not the other way around. I think there would still be plenty of interest for a Stones tour, because for many people they are ju

QuoteflilflamTrue Stones fans prefer songs with that characteristic Stones beat, or mid-tempo songs like Beast of Burden or Plundered My Soul. These C nd W songs could never be played live at a concert, because everyone would start to boo. I love how you assume your opinion is the gold standard for a "True Stones Fan", implying that those who disagree with you aren't "True&

I just bought the remaster today, finally upgrading from the one I bought in '95. Slowly but surely I'm upgrading my Stones catalog to the remasters. I think about 1/3 of my CD's are still the older versions.

It's up to #38 now, and #28 in Canada. Sadly on Amazon.uk it's only #93. I don't think you can call something a "bomb" because of the Amazon numbers though. It very well might be a bomb, but it's available in store, on iTunes, and several other options. Not to mention the fact there are 2 other versions (that I know of) other than the Deluxe Edition. Some people

I guess I'll make a real Desert Island list, my island themed one was mainly a joke and I don't even like some of those songs. I still haven't heard these songs yet (mine hasn't arrived yet), so I can't opine on them, but as others have said, they're outtakes. If you didn't yearn for a CD of Outtakes, then you should have just bought the 2009 remaster and not paid for the bonus disc. You weren't forced to buy it, and there are other options when making your "Some Girls" purchase.

With the exception of Ventilator Blues, I tend to not like any song by the Stones (original or cover) with the word "Blues" in the title.

QuoteDeltics The clue is in the title, all of these tracks are official releases and, as such, are a no-no on this site. Check out bv's "Sticky" at the top of this page. Oh OK, my bad. I thought they were "legal" as in were all released as B-Sides, but were no longer in print. The main reason I asked is because I read about it on this site in a list of bootlegs avail

I found one post for this, but the link was dead. I did a search, but didn't find anything, including the post I had already seen that actually said "Lost Legal Live Tracks" (guess the search feature isn't all that great). Anybody have a working link? The only thing I've found on an internet search was a torrent, but it stalled out around 80% completion.

Well my record collection is modest, so even though I have entire collections on CD they don't count, so I guess it's mostly just 90's bands: Pearl Jam (I have all the official bootlegs except the Canada '11 tour that just came out) Nirvana Nine Inch Nails Stone Temple Pilots Toadies Tripping Daisy

Quote24FPS The Rolling Stone's version of 'Like A Rolling Stone' absolutely blew chunks. It's not even listenable. Bob's version of Brown Sugar, which I saw live at the Wiltern in 2002, was rollicking, fun, and rocking. Maybe Bob has faded recently, but you better not count him out. His last three albums are better than anything the post-Wyman Stones have released.

I noticed Gob's version of "Paint It, Black" on the page with the other covers. I'm not sure about that one. It worked nice during the end credits of the 2004 mini-series adaptation of 'Salem's Lot, but just hearing it by itself I'm not feeling it. By the way, who did that French cover of "Paint It, Black" that was in "Talladega Nights"?
