961. Don Was
I'm not nearly as knowledgable on the Stones as everyone else here and I am wondering what to make of Don Was. In the new video, there is a bonus interviews section and he was talking about the vaults a little. I've also heard him discuss them before. Is he the man that will likely be in charge once the Stones are gone? Is that a bad thing or a good thing? Or- maybe there's s

Here is a link to a program which a lot of you will find useful if you don't know about it already. Let's say you find an awesome clip of some rare Keith song on You Tube. You cut and paste the web address into this program and you can make your own mp3 or .wav file. I've really had a blast with it.

Anyone hear any rumors? I wish they would release another track and perhaps another B-side - I would have really liked to have an official release of the Shine A Light alternate sometimes referred to as "Get A Line On You"

Quote1962 Quotemitch All the jaggerian clichés are in this title (this is probably why he seems to love this title that much). This song is a joke. Even Andy Johns couldn't have save this dung. But we love those clichés. That's right - they are Jagger cliches! LOL

If anyone's keeping track, I'm in the can't stand it group. It also might be the only song I dislike on VL. Similarly I couldn't stand ASMB off BTB. I also thought Harlem Shuffle was bad choice for DW (not that it mattered) For that matter the only song I really haven't taken ahuge liking to on the bonus exile is PMS. Weird - i just never agree with their choice for s

Anyone who can help fill the rest out for me? 1. "Pass the Wine (Sophia Loren) - 2. "Plundered My Soul - new lyrics by Mick, new vocals by Mick, new guitar work by Mick T., new backing vocals by L

It's amusing how we can all differ so much. Personally I think it's the ONLY bad song on the bonus disc.

QuoteFilip020169 I love it to the maximum- though I must say, I have serious doubts about the previous 'whereabouts' of this track... I mean, does this really sound like early 70's Rolling Stones, Nellcote basement style?! Same goes for "Pass the Wine", imho- cheeky Jagger! But hey, I think "Dancing in the Light" is a true gem; and it should be released as a

I take no credit for this, but a decent Stones Fan years ago compiled this list. This will help you all compile your disc. I was amazed how much editing went on. Right, pleane no stadium - let's have some cool small places and throw lots of Blues and some Soul covers in for good measure. We do not need Brown Sugar, It's Only R & R, Satisfaction, JJF runout again....That is gettin' old.

From what I read, it was really crap. The authorities confiscated something like 5 or 6 computers immediately and found nothing on any of them. I think The Who was a great band. Obivously a notch below the Stones, but they definitely had their own vibe. Very challenging things he tried. Tommy, Quadrophenia, Who's Next are all basically masterpieces and some of the early 60's single

Quoteflairville It annoys me so much I cannot listen to that track. It's exactly the same version as Four Flicks but it sounds fine on the DVD. I don't know why this was ever allowed to be released. It annoyed me so much I never listen to the entire CD, I made my own from the DVD which turned out much better. There tons of bad/unnecessary edits on that disc. Very sad.

I really like collecting B-sides - Some groups have some really awesome ones - R.E.M., U2, The Police to name a few. The R.E.M. album Dead Letter Office is mostly a collection of 'em and I think that LP is a blast!
