QuoteNaturalust Easily bored, never around long enough to personally pick up the pieces of failed situations and too set in his ways to ever change. I think having daughters has mellowed him somewhat but had to smile when Jade had to ask him to bring a date at least as old as her recently. I love the man but probably wouldn't like him much. peace Mick is more than just love affairs

Do we even know if it is true that he left Jerry "one day after giving birth"? I Read an interview once, where Jerry said she thought about leaving Mick, but then decided to stay, because one does not leave that so easily, the money, the fame the good live and all that. She said it very clearly that she stayed because of the money. Instead she decided to become pregnant again... There

It would really be interesting to know why Mick fired Jane Rose and why she resents him so much. Could it be that it was a spontaneous decision to record a second solo album instead of a Stones album because he was simply hurt by Keith´s public overreaction? Maybe it is comparable to what is going on today due to Keith´s Book. Mick postponed everything because he needed time to get over it or to

Quotestupidguy2 QuoteStoneage I don't think so, EG. As far as I know she was a model and is now a fashion designer (or something...). I don't keep track of all the children though. I'm sure some of them aren't models or fashion designers. Well, they all dabbled in 'modeling'. Jade and and Marlon did it for a short period of time. Of course, their fathers' na

Quotetreaclefingers Quoteangee "Chris is dead on about the situation caused by Keith's book. Anyone who doubts that doesn't know what they're talking about, and Mick is playing it to the max." Wait, Mick was upset, or he overreacted? Some insiders said putting what Keith did in his book was not right but some insiders were surprised by Mick's reaction? What is

Quoteswiss I have my opinion about why The Washington Times would post this. Maybe I'll administer a confidential survey on iorr to gather some data about this to see whether my hunch is right about that---i.e., it seems to me many people most into drawing these ferocious battle lines between Keith and Mick (which I don't -- I love them both and am grateful to what they have

QuoteJustin Firstly: jamesfdouglas will love this article haha! Secondly, while the article is written extremely well, I don't like the idea that the author completely airs out what is essentially OUR (meaning, all Stones fans') dirty laundry. It's no surprise that he gets to the heart of the matter so succinctly since he himself is from the Stones boards. I won't out h

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotetumbled Why does everyone think that if they like one that they must hate the other. I dont' think the article writer knows what he is talking about on several instances, namely, the contributions on Bigger Bang songwriting. I think they are a songwriting team and both should get credit for it. How would the article writer know anything about who did what?

QuoteDoxa QuoteDandelionPowderman Ha ha, I forgot that you Finns really let it loose during the May 1st Good one? However, read the info from the insider again. Quoteswiss Quotememphiscats Intelligence & clever are 2 different things. I would say that Mick is probably the most clever with Charlie as a close second and Keith third. However, intelligence is measured in many different ways and people have varying degrees of it. Intelligence is definitely a three-way tie between Mick, Keith, and Charlie... Agree with memphiscats. "Clever,&

QuoteStoneage To defend Keith a bit, I think he's right on one account. He's angry with Mick because he (Mick) broke up the band in the 80s in order to persue a solo career. There his critisim is valid. Mick has had a tendency since the 80s not really wanting to work with the band but to do all sorts of other things (produce films, attend premieres, solo stuff and whatever). The only re

Quote71Tele Does anybody else feel that Keith's bashing of Mick's musicianship might be far more insulting to Mick than "Todgergate"? In "Life" Keith mentions an incident in the studio where he says to Mick: "There are two guitar players in this band, and you're not one of them". Really? He says this to the man who played guitar on "Sway" and

Ok, I read it, but I did not see any proof that this is Mick´s main issue with the book. Instead of it, I read once again the old myth, that Keith has the music and Mick has the lyrics.

Iam with Limbostone who said early in this thread that he does not really apologies, he only regrets that Mick got offended. Too often in the last year keith said things like it was necassary to write this book the way he did because it "balanced out" things, or that it was only the truth, and so on. Not only in the time of promoting the book, also in recent interviews, so it is hard to

I think it is ONE example of how they write. With these unfinished outtakes, do we know at what state of recording they were? Maybe Keith was just fooling around because Mick was not there, or something like that.

QuoteSwayStones QuoteHairball Back on topic: I think Mick needs to reign in his onstage antics a little bit. Watching him point, squirm, shimmy, and pose seems a little bit awkward for an old man like him. Sure, he can still do it (somewhat), but it all looks forced and unnatural. Well, everybody here knows how greatly I admire Jagger ( "awe "should work too. ) but I must say I

Quotecharlie62 Have you ever tried talking after singing a whole song, it's very difficult at any age, as for Keith let's wait and see. I wanted to say that as well to all who are worried because Mick was out of breath. Run for 3 minutes and than stand still and hold a speech WITHOUT being out of breath - not possible.

[ it´s not an question of bashing anyone - the fact is that Mick needs a good songwriting partnership - when I think of his songs - I can think of only Brown Sugar or Moonlight Mile - after that - I cant think of any really classic Stones that didnt have Keith´s input. It´s a fact - and no Jeff can ever replace that. I think Keith is growing up with grace and dignity, but I´m not sure about Mick
