QuoteMr.D Quoteeduardoacdc It would be fine if they release ONCE AND FOR ALL mocambo and knebworth! The From The Vault series is video, some sets have CD's too, so El Mocambo(which wasn't filmed) won't be part of Vault series. The BBC erased or recorded over two hours of the Knebworth concert leaving the one hour of film that we have had for years! From The Vault also included Br

QuoteMunichhilton QuoteTurning To Gold Quick question: I haven't bought the set yet. Can someone please confirm that the "Brown Sugar" alt with Eric Clapton, is it the exact same version as the one widely known on bootleg? Any mix differences? Any editing? Thanks. It's the same except the old boots are better...this one is compressed and brick walled to death...we need t

I love Ronnie, but I really don't care for his solos on Midnight Rambler, Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Sway, etc. Not really his style. Of course the Stones can play these songs with Ronnie, like they have been doing for 40 years, but IMO, they would be better to use Taylor in that capacity, especially if the Sticky Fingers set is to be believed.

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotejlowe Quote1969Fan QuoteRobertJohnson Here an intelligent review I just found: I agree. Good review. And it sounds like this person is speaking with authority on the continuing date mystery. As for how good or bad the performance(s) on the DVD and CD are, I am biased because I was there and therefore I value them. Did they play as well in 1975 as they did in 1969?

QuoteDECCA61 got my LA 75 today what a shame i dont like it the package looks more like a 2cd set with the DVD as a bonus ... and the audio of the DVD is just poer ... sounds more like an upgraded audience recording and i have heard many bettre recordings ... It doesn't sound like an audience recording at all.

I can't believe anyone is seriously entertaining the idea that the audio on the DVD is taken from an audience recorded tape.

Another note - The Who continued to put out non-album singles well into the 1970s.

QuotePietro Marketing, I get it. But I don't recall any Beatles hits never appearing on their albums. I can't think of any other groups from the 1960s who left their greatest hits off albums. Really? We Can Work it Out/Day Tripper, Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane, Paperback Writer, Lady Madonna, Hey Jude, Ballad of John and Yoko...

Quoteandrea66 i don't see any North american tour coming, sorry. they played already last year, in many cities, like they did this year in europe. I can only see a multiple ny stay maybe after mexican or costa rica gig, but after that I think realistic they will close the circle in london . after that, if something more will happen, some expensive events in selected cities Mexico and Cost

QuoteDoomandGloom QuoteChacal QuoteBeforeTheyMakeMeRun one of the comments in this video of CYHMK? from Philly Night 2 points out something I didn't notice; Taylor glaring down Wood. They said, Do you think Taylor seemed cold towards his replacement at the shows/videos you've been to/seen? No matter what chummy relations may exist, that intense look is Taylor's non verbal comm

QuoteBlueranger Quotetklawson Is she related to the Guy who yells "Paint It Black!" before Let it Rock? The guy on Let It Rock does not yell Paint Y Black... He yells Let It Rock! Listen again... I used to think he yelled let it rock, but after 50+ times listening to it over and over, he clearly yells Paint it Black

QuoteRedhotcarpet Quotetreaclefingers Quotekeefriffhard4life QuoteRedhotcarpet I dont know anything about the Kinks and I discovered them far too late. They were always mentioned in the magazines or the books but still totally underrated by me. Is it the imo pretty lame bandname and their bleak image compared to Who, Stones, Velvet, Doors or Beatles? They failed to find new teen fans in the 1980s

Since as far as I know, the records are still in print, the distribution agreement is still in effect I'm guessing there was a renewal clause. Gazza is correct though, this is basically all about the back catalogue at this point.

I am 40 and American & people of my generation all know the Stones - for us, the Stones were somewhat contemporary, but Elvis was considered oldies. You could hear his songs on oldies radio, but very few people my age ever owned an Elvis record.

Quotemighty stork I wasn't there but for the shows they used for the movie Shine A Light they stuck a whole bunch of young models up front so that and the size of the venue might have brought the average down. I was there. The number of "models" of which I was one, and I am bald and 40, was fairly small given the total number of people at either show. The first show had a lot
