Quotemuffie QuoteStonedInTokyoWow. You guys can't seem to take a hint. It's OVER! Just passing the message along. If they did reschedule the Hanging Rock for the tour end then and only then would I go. It might end up being a moment in history.. last stop ever. Otherwise the refund for Hanging Rock will more than pay for the LA Friday DVD. It's a win either way. Did you get

QuoteCaptainCorella And if they refund 100% of the tickets, and then immediately put a new (very close) date back on sale... you have utter bloody chaos. Why? If it's just the same people buying the tickets (or less people, some would have arranged to see other shows instead) then what difference does it make?

QuoteWuudy Why are people suggesting that they should have more space between shows and anticipate more on their health? They only play two shows a week on this tour which is a lot less than what they used to do so they trying to be more careful! From what I understood from ticketmaster is that it is cancelled and everybody gets a refund. If there's a reasonable chance that can reschedule

Quotemuffie Rolling Stones Hanging Rock gig may go ahead after all QuoteBroadcaster Eddie McGuire said there is a “glimmer”of hope tour promoter Michael Gudinski might be in negotiations with the Stones to consider a new show date after they perform in Auckland, New Zealand, on November 22. Unconfirmed sources claim talks for a new show are focused on dates from November 27 to 29. But,

QuoteOzHeavyThrobber The way you are responding to it If YouStartMeUp is very grown up. I do feel disappointed for you and people that are in the position you're in, but at least you're being sensible about it. I honestly hope you get the chance to see them before they hang up their boots. If you're a new Stones fan and are light on gear feel free to email me and I'll run

Quotesdstonesguy Totally agree...disappointment is understandable. Signs about all the money you "lost" is silly. Agree with that, I added another bit to my post to clarify that I'm not one of those people... lol

Quotesdstonesguy Such a strange response...I thought only us Americans were that self absorbed. BV has it right, you don't go to Hawaii, it happens to rain & then sulk the rest of the vacation. P.S. Anyone who has been waiting their whole life to see the Stones & only now bought tickets...haven't been waiting their whole life...or were born recently. That's like me sa

Oh, so they already said that it definitely won't be rescheduled. Must have missed that. Ok, then one more question... do you think this will be the last time they are ever in Australia?

So do you think there is any chance that this will be rescheduled? I had tickets for this show, and this is the first time they've been to Australia since I became a fan. It's not looking likely that I can make it to any of the remaining dates, due to a combination of it being too expensive/too short notice/too far away. So if this doesn't get rescheduled, and they never come

Hi, I am trying to get tickets to one of the Australian shows next month (Hanging Rock Reserve, Macedon, Victoria, November 8th). I'm trying to get them from eBay because the official ticket site has been sold out for a long time. In the FAQ section on the official ticket site, it says that tickets may not be accepted if they are bought from a third party. But how would they know the t

Yeah, DVDShrink is great - I've been using it for a long time. But I'm pretty sure it won't create one long windows media file, for that you may want to try this: That software is supposed to be paid for, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a registration number on the net... *cough*

I think they sounded pretty sloppy on some gigs, while great on others (such as LSTNT).

Nice one - I love this film too so will probably be picking this up soon. Is it a noticeable improvement over the DVD?

QuoteRip This you want to see the effects of steroids and surgery look at Mickey Rourke, Stallone and Arnold. There's a difference between taking a bodybuilding dose of steroids and an anti-aging dose though.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of them use that stuff or will do so... anyone remember a few months ago when Robbie Williams admitted that he takes testosterone and human growth hormone? And he's only 37!

I saw Stones in the Park yesterday in a store here in Australia... didn't pick it up though for reasons other people hinted at in the other thread - didn't think it would be enough of an improvement over the DVD to bother.

QuoteStoneage "Wow, I only just found out that his wife is 55??? She looks 35!". To be fair, she looks 45. A very good looking 45-year old. Yeah, you're probably right. I was exaggerating a little. Was just really surprised at how young she looked for her age.

Interesting that the cover of the single says "Bill Wyman's In Another Land" and then goes on to make a further distinction between "Bill Wyman" and "The Rolling Stones"... I know Bill wrote it but surely it was written with the intention of it being a Rolling Stones song? Oh well, no big deal, Bill is a great musician so the more exposure he gets the better.

Quoterocker1Tying this back to the Stones...imagine a Beggar's Banquet with a Jumpin' Jack Flash or a Let it Bleed album with a Honky Tonk Woman. Wow. The inclusion of those songs make those "seminal" albums just off-the-charts great. Hindsight being 20-20...they should've done this. Yes, I agree 100%. Does anyone know the story behind why these songs weren't in
