Ronnie in London last evening - Tour news

Great mate of mine, mega fan, by chance overheard Ronnie saying that we was meeting Mick today to discuss "next year's tour"...100% reliable report - lets hope it's the details of a tour rather than "yes or no"!

Any news is good news, at least they are all still alive and talking, one day something may happen

So what exactly is "100% reliable?" Hearsay doesn't account for much, if anything.

Talking with Mick Jagger and convincing him about Taylor being back in the band.
3 guitar players wouldn't be bad - at least instead of Blondie.

I thought Blondie were just fine with two guitarists.

Are you sure he didn't mean Mick Hucknall?

means

Mick: " I'm busy with Superheavy, you can go your own way"

100% reliable means that is what Ronnie said. he was at Shoreditch House.

with Keith in London also for GQ awards, might even be a band meeting (now that is speculation!)

Thanks as always, Teddy. Any news on whether or not there's a SOME GIRLS DELUXE in the offing and if so, any word on possible ontents (actual outtakes or refried leftovers)? Any news is good news at this point.

Means they probably don't want him to talk about it. Bruce Springsteen did teh same thing when a producer he's working with mentioned it on his website. It was quickly taken down.

Excellent news...

I place this question here because it doesn't seem to merit it's own new thread:
On Ronnie's latest solo album we get "100%". The guitar in the ending jam is identical to Keith's guitar riff and sound on "999".
Does it strike you as in inside joke, a continuation from 999 to 1000 ? Or do I file this in the "Listen-backwards-to-Paul-is-dead" dept?

I thought about that, too. It's Billy Gibbons who plays it - it's no secret that he is a big Keith-fan. Could be a homage?
