QuoteDragonSky No, just rock'n'roll. The Stones have never been 'hard rock'. That's more AC/DC etc than The Rolling Stones. This is definitely true, but there are still some Stones songs I would consider to have a hard rock-ish sound to them... I didn't know Gimme Shelter was available on Blu-Ray. Thanks for the heads up. I wish they would release "Let's Spend The Night Together" on Blu-Ray as well... although the DVD is already pretty good.

I recently got "Ladies & Gentlemen" and "Live at the Max". Didn't own them on any other format so I can't comment on how different they are, but they look & sound great.

I know it's been mentioned, but Satisfaction is another one that instantly springs to mind. The original studio version sounds a bit lame compared to the live versions (not saying there's anything wrong with the original, but the live versions pack a lot more punch).

I see it's off the same album as that absolutely horrendous version of AC/DC's "Back In Black". Considering that, I was actually pleasantly surprised. It wasn't outstanding, but it wasn't bad either.

Stones. The Beatles are good, but they're too much of a 'pop' band for my taste.
