CindyC...i'm looking at the Ethan Russell book (Dear Mr. Fantasy) right now.

Obviously the photog (ER) suggested the cover shot (noses up against glass).
ER was surprised that Mick ok'd it. Mick suggested that they destroy the glass
for the back cover. 20 sheets for 8 X 10 foot glass were shattered for the shoot.
("shattered in a flurry of bricks")

It doesn't specifically mention Keith & the chair. Along side the blurb in ER's book..he shows the 3 pix used for the album...including the back cover shot of Keith with the chair. (the one on this thread is an out-take)

Thanks SNC - I need to replace my copy of that book. It had water spilled on it, so I can't see every page. It's a good book though, definitely worth replacing.

20 sheets of glass!? Wow, that's a lot! Must have been a nightmare to clean up!?

One of the May 21 1969 "outtakes" (band members sitting in a vault at a London pier) appears in the inlet of the classic Time Trip Volume 4, unfortunately small reproduced.

And does anyone have the picture of deeply smiling Brian at Cotchford with Tom Keylock (spring or early summer 1969 apparently, could be even shoot after June 12). It was available on the www.voy.com (see link above) page but all Brian photos that are interesting for us were removed (don't know why) meanwhile.

Those pics of Brian and Tom Keylock throwing knives and Brian with Keith in the background on a roof are from Redlands in summer 1968 not Cotchford in 1969. smiling smiley

Maybe you know different picture(s)? On the one I remember there are no knives and I think no Keith in the backgroud. Brian looks more like 1969 I though.

But as I don't know the "knives" pics, you can upload them as well. Would be interesting enough I believe.

The only pics of Brian with Tom that were on that other forums pics thread were the ones I'm talking about. The person who posted them mistook them for being cotchfod farm pics.

i don't know, Toru A - maybe Bailey; Michael Ochs also seems like a candidate.
1967 anyway ...

Here on a new thread is a picture of Brian and Suki Poitier from April 1969 (?):

If this is true, it is one of the ca. 15 last pictures of him (incl. the May 21 Through The Past Darkly shoot).

I think the date would make sense, looking at his hair and condition. In some of my books there is another shoot of that photo session. Can anybody upload then and/ or verify the date?

They apparently split in March/April so it must be the last days of their relationship.

Anyway, it is from 1969, I believe the photographer is David Bailey.

Brian really looks like "end of relationship", Suki doesn't. But nevertheless there are worse pics of him. Anyway, he only had this kind of hair style in his last half year on earth IMO.

In Bill Wyman's Rolling with the Stones book there's a couple of pics of Suki and Barbara Jones, Brian's sister supporting each other, so Suki must have been quite close to the family. Does anybody knows what happened with Barbara Jones?

I have read in a few dodgy Brian books that she got married, had kids, and avoided the press like the plague/refused to talk publicly about Brian.

Make of that what you will. smiling smiley

Is there really no photography of Brian with Anna Wohlin (April-June 1969) available?

None so far it seems.

Makes you wonder huh? Perhaps she has made their relationship out to be more than it actually was... well I think it's likely! tongue sticking out smiley

Great shot Britney, although he looks deep down sad... thanks for posting it! Can you tell us what book it's from?

That's most likely from a 'rehearsal' sometime after Brian's court case in September 1968, Stanley Booth talks about it in his books.

Same day as these it seems...

On of the pics that surfaced in the flurry of promotion for Ethan's Let It Bleed book. It's probably in the book.

Well done for catching it! thumbs up

That damn book is so tempting, but the price totally puts me off.

Ive just been thumbing through a copy of the Terry Rawlings book on Brian.."Who Killed Christopher Robin..........."
Apparantly the striped shirt Brian is seen wearing in the last photos (June 1969)is one he knicked from Dick Taylor.
So that is why some people may think its an old one.....odd that he still had it, seen as how he seemed ptretty hopeless at hanging on to possessions.
Also, strangely the book includes photos of the author with sibling and mother, taken at Redlands in 1967, with Tom Keylock in the background.
All three are wearing striped shirts almost identical to Brian's.
