He looks actually better than on most 1968 pictures! Maybe because he just had returned from long holidays in Ceylon. Even in early March he looked still good; as far as we can see rather like in 1966 than 1968.
But several weeks later he was hard drinking again which profe some horrible pictures above (probably shoot March, April, maybe May). His guitar parts at that time were probably not useable.
I wonder why I never seen a picture of Brian with Anna Wohlin. That's strange because they lived together for three months at Cotchford farm. Or maybe with his dogs ;-)
