Oh come on everybody! These guys are ancient and have abused their brains and bodies for decades. When I saw them last year in Mexico Keith couldn't remember how to start Happy, and Ronnie had to spend a few moments showing him.
I don't think we can expect them do play a bunch of 'rare' stuff.

I don't think we can expect them do play a bunch of 'rare' stuff. I think it's as much as they can do (I guess I'm thinking of KR mainly here) to give us a run through of their hits that they have played a million times.
But enjoy it! This is legendary music played by the very people that made it in the first place so many years ago. There is no feast that does not come to an end.

Would love to hear Keith do a Berry number in his own set. For an untempo one Sweet Little Rock n Roller or how about Wee Wee Hours ?

I wasn't trying to be negative really, just respectful and realistic.
But I take your point about the Fonda SF gig. Come to think of it, I haven't actually heard all of that.
Sounds like a plan for Sunday afternoon...

I remember only too clearly the time Keith forgot how to start Happy after he wished Patti happy Birthday, but that was a one off in recent times, probably caused by his medication, (he has anti seizure meds since the bang on the head) but 90 percent of the time i think Keith is willing to learn, yearning for the challenge. The songs i suggested are not that difficult to play (or sing for Keith) and would make a welcome change for the disappointing efforts he makes on songs like SFTD.

t I hope Chuck is watching this thread.
Don't you think songs like Rock's Off, Bitch, Time Waits For No One, Coming Down Again, If You Can't Rock Me, Street Fighting Man, Crazy Mama, CYHMK, All About You, Sway, Nearness Of You, Factory Girl, Dead Flowers, Let It Bleed, Monkey Man, That's How Strong My Love Is, Let It Loose, and about 30 others i can't be bothered to mention, would make a welcome change from Miss You and YCAGWYW.
Added.
In fact the 17 song set list i have just listed would go down well with any Stones fan without a single Warhorse is sight.

My wishlist for rehearsals:
Coming Down Again, Time Waits For No One, Citadel, Winter, Dear Doctor, High and Dry, Plundered My Soul, 100 Years Ago, Confessin'The Blues, Highwire, Soul Survivor, Hipshake.
I'm lucky if they play only two songs from my list!

In Perth also. Happy was... not Happy when it started. Had to stop. Ask chuck. Restart.

I read somewhere that Keith said he'll never do it, because of the lyrics, or something...
It's a shame, cause it's a great, great song, imo.

If Keith attempts Can't Be Seen one more time, i will pull my hair out. ( if i had any )
If Keith played Coming Down Again live it would make my life complete.
Maybe he will sing it this time as a tribute to Anita. Fingers crossed .

Perhaps you guys could continue this discussion over here: Setlist discussions
It's hard to pick up any interesting news on the rehearsals with all these setlist
wishes of ours...

Oh sorry i thought rehearsals was a good place to discuss what they might play at rehearsals.. Its kind of on topic, to my mind anyways.

No sweat.
But when looking for clues about what they actually ARE reheasing, it is quite a job
to go through five pages of wishful thinking.

It is rather odd that they have been rehearsing for a week and no reports have surfaced. Are they in an underground bank vault and no one outside can hear anything?
