Yes he is, and yes it probably will.
I saw him last year at the L.A. Forum (standing GA very close to stage)and it was one of the best shows I've seen from him.
I've already predicted he will more than likely be the highlight of Desert Trip (at least for me he will), but if I/we can get into this show (or shows) it will be the icing on the cake!
As for what tix to try for - such a small theater doesn't matter which one's really, but I'd say go for the PIT!
Both shows go on sale at the same time so chances are good we will get in at least one of them...

If I had it to do all over again I would have done reserved seats for weekend one and a GM for Friday only weekend 2 and stayed all week I just knew there would be stuff like Neil at small place happening

Well I just listened to a tape of his recent Outlaw Music Festival set (19/9) and Neil means business... he's really out for blood.
Add to this a stripped-down "festival" setlist chokeful of hits and classics : it's going to be tough for other acts.
Didn't even see that.. Thanks! Just bought a GA ticket.
Have seen her show once and really enjoyed it! Surely being five minutes from the DT site, there will be special guest(s) appearing or attending.. and vice versa (!) Love to see her and Sasha sing together...

Yes he is, and yes it probably will.

I'm going for the Wednesday show,,, Looking for the $50 tix (likely) Wonder if there will be price levels in between the two??

· GA Floor tickets will not grant access to the pit. Pit tickets are sold separately.
• Pit tickets are Will Call only. The attendee must be the primary ticket purchaser from AXS.com. The purchaser will be required to provide a valid government issued photo ID for verification.
• All tickets are non-transferrable and there will be no name changes or alternative pick-ups allowed. If you purchased 2-4 tickets, all members of your party must enter the venue at the same time."
-Hour and a half from Indio.. could do either night but Wed gives little more time to settle in to my camping spot...

I'll be at both DT weekends, so if these new shows pan out I'll be extending my getaway from home to stay down there during the entire week.
I went to Grad University in Claremont (which is right above Pomona), and have a bunch friends who still live down there that I can stay with.
