Did anyone see the article that said this: "The concert will be recorded in a documentary which will then be exhibited in Cuba. The documentary about the concert will project on Cuban television in a few weeks."?
Thanks. That's what it says. I guess what I read was correct ... "The sea of people flowed beyond into the streets, with crowds even standing thick on neighboring rooftops."
"Como en el resto de la gira, el show no será transmitido en vivo por televisión, pero se grabará en un documental que luego será exhibido en Cuba."
On a rough translation: "The concert will not be broadcasted, but a documentary is being filmed and it will soon be exhibited in Cuba".

I read that as well but maybe it's a mistake they may have meant to say the whole tour.

Utter nonsense about 1.3 or 1.5 million. AP figure is much closer to reality. But I don't know why they have to rely on "some estimates" when they can make their own. They were on the premises, had a tent shelter etc.

Bob was at the gates at 07.00 He knows Cuba and Cubans well. He said "when the gates open Cubans will walk towards the stage in an orderly fashion.". Apparently there were few Cubans around at 14.00. When I saw movement at another gate across the field we immediately breached through the barrier and breached the FOS section barrier shocking the security people and police. At first they tried to grab the forerunners and shouted 'go back!' But it was futile. Fantastic.

Yes, we really need to see a shot of the whole venue, preferably from above, to be able to make a worthwhile estimate, but from the photos I've seen I'd guess somewhere between 80,000 and 120,000.

I really enjoyed watching the news coverage of the concert when they interviewed some local people they said it was the best night of their life and the smile on their faces was amazing to see.
I am really glad the stones were able to play this concert for the people of Cuba.

Now I am in Mexico City Airport on my way to back home Tokyo.
Great crowed, especially young guys with super high energy.
I was exhausted but it was worth to go.

I already had 2 flights from Havana to Mexico City.
Have more 4 flights and arrive at Tokyo on Tuesday afternoon. 2 night flights and beyond date line. lol.
