Sasha has been great on this Tour and great interaction with Mick, Bernard and everyone on stage.

I love Lisa , but Sasha is gonna be there at the next gig................in London hopefully sometime. thumbs up

I too get a feeling Lisa won't be back. Anyway, whatever happens Sasha did a fantastic job on this tour.

The Havana Cuba reports pages are by far the most visited pages on IORR of allof the Latin America tour pages, so I will add a few more memories from Havana.

First a picture taken just a few minutes before the most busy gate opens on show day at 1:55pm.

The next picture is taken just a few minutes later, all these more than thousand people have been running and flocking into the site through the narrow opening in the fence as seen in the first picture.

Then the last bit of the show opening video, showing some special Havana addition bits.

Then the very first picture I took at the show just as Keith took front stage. Normally I would not publish it, because it is not sharp, but it is the first one, it is unique, it is Keith at the very show start.

Then the next day, having lunch, we get a show by these young musicians. Music was all over Havana at all times.

Bananas on sale in a side street, the life goes on in Havana next day.

On Empedrado, just before you enter into Plaza de la Catedral, there was the only sign of the Obama visit to Cuba, it was there already on the day I arrived into Cuba on March 18, the picture of Raol Castro and Barack Omama saying "Bienvenido a Cuba" - "Welcome to Cuba".

I took may be 2,000 pictures in Havana Cuba. Every picture is telling a story. So many great memories and images. The Latin America tour 2016 was a great tour, two months of so many great shows and memories, a press photo shoot, Chile reherarsals, 14 shows, 8 countries, 10 cities, more than one million fans. Thanks to the Stones, thanks to everyone I met on the tour. I am still working on my post-tour exceptional state, but I will try to re-activatemyself soon, in London next week at the latest.

According to some comments on this Facebook post, the Argentinian TV channel Todo Noticias will broadcast a special program about the Stones concert in Cuba tonight at midnight (Buenos Aires time). It can be streamed live on this link: [tn.com.ar]

Unfortunately the footage that was used on this 20-minutes TV special came from the videos we already know.

the havanna show was actually very good, would rate it among the best ones I`ve witnessed since the 90`s. Not to be compared with 1973 or 75, when they first hit me, but still great. I was back in the field, and the sound was phantastic.
-The cuban people are just great, just coming along with the whole family, bringing their things and having picnic. It`s a fact that the cubans don`t need the Stones, they`ve got their own music down to the bone, but a while into the show it got to them, that was great to witness. Hard work and concentrated effort by the band, it seemed to me. And the scenery around - people dancing on the ceilings of their crumbling dilapidated houses, the scenes in the street...
it wasn`t all comfortable, and sale of alcohol was forbidden, but that one could easily be sidestepped.
Managed to flag down a private 1950`s Plymouth, luckily, after the show to take my shattered self back home to the Florida Hotel.
"The Grandma"s (cuban official newspaper) headline the next day: Cuba, una Stone

Here's a kind of short documentary about the Havana concert. It's mostly a mix with interviews with fans from all over the world who went there (and some very known faces, at least to me) and some snippets from the songs in between.

Here's some technical details about the filming of this concert as posted by Paul Dugdale on his blog, from an article published on Film and Digital Times magazine:

1.2 million people at a free concert. Great.

500.000? 1,2 million?

This remind me an article read about concerts on the great lawn in Central Park. Some concerts are known to have gathered 200.000 (Simon & Garfunkel), 400.000 (Paul Simon) or even 650.000 peole (Garth Brooks!) on this area.
The fact is that people working in Central Park can explain that no more than 180.000 peole can stand on the great lawn!!!

All these figures are B... S...

Official Stones figures. Don't think they would say 1.2 million if it was "out the blue". See their homepage:

Interesting site to evaluate a crownd : [www.mapchecking.com]

For the Ciudad Deportivo, with 5 people /m² (which is a great max), you have a result of 228.000 people...

This Friday is Good Friday. It will be a great reminder of last year on Good Friday where I was one if the lucky ones to attend the Havana show. It was an incredible show and a wonderful visit.
