Particularly like this shot from SFTD.
The cape, similar to the one L'wren designed is worn as a tribute to her still,
I believe.

Yes, great pics, thanks for sharing LatvianinExile ! BTW did you ever find out what happened to your scarf (the Trabendo one I believe?) that was "borrowed" by PDB during 14 on Fire in Asia I think ? ;-)

@with sssoul - thanks for clarifying, wish I hadn't helped getting that picture posted then!

In "Sympathy For The Devil" Keith played it safe, which at this stage of the game is prefectly fine. Ronnie sounded out of key, though. Anyway, it's great they're back on the road!

He started doing that on the Zip Code Tour. Sounds much better, imo.
playing within his self. At this point reaching is not always the best move for Keith. I'd rather hear 10 good notes than a sprinkle of sour ones. Keith has left the Chuck B
and funk behind, he's now.a.pentatonic lead guy. I think it's good but Ronnie's work load has increased, meanwhile he still attempts to finish Keith's solos and tie a neat package. Wood thinks fast but sometimes needs to stop working so hard and just play.

I would like to hear Keith play the Sympathy leads at the 12th fret like the old days, sounds better to me.

In recent times he plays one note that sounds off to me, the lower note before the phrase resolves itself.

I guess if he played it the same all the time he would go out of his mind from the boredom.

On S, GS and SFTD he is indeed playing pentatonic only, but hasn't he always done that on those songs?

On IORR he's still doing his Berry-thing, though.

It might be due to the setlist..

Fixed that for you although I'm not sure I see the connection with the thread?

I have to be honest and say I don't like that card at all.

I think it's horrible, especially the noses. Yuck !

Thanks, Latvianexile, more stunning pictures. The quality of those and of bv's and Hendrik's are quite superb!

This in spades. They're even better than on previous tours. Much appreciated by me. Good range too. Bjornulf on Ronnie's side and Latvianinexile on Keith's it would appear.

It's amazing at his age Charlie can do a two hour show with the exertion and precision required.

It does look like a joint. Maybe a herbal roll up . Nothing like Ronnies' ciggy. winking smiley

I thought Ronnie quit smoking because he was told he was on the brink of emphysema.

Fun to see the reports page up and posted.
Great reading the Review by Bjornulf Vik and how he uses his expertise and wisdom to be on the front rail (no simple task) and also heart warming to read how he... I will not spoil the nice read it is. smiling smiley

Always good to read the words of someone who is a fan simply passing along information (which I really want to know) about what happened at the show without feeling the need to be snarky or overly-judgemental about a live concert.

I hope more reports come in from locals down SA, even if I have to use "translate" to understand.
