encouraged by photos of Keith at piano and on base...if they allowed Ronnie to bring some funk..back.....they could be on to something...high hopes.
Why? Keith and Ronnie both lost their bass mojo a LONG time ago. Bass is now the least appealing part of the Rolling Stones sound, with piano right behind.
Keith played a ton of bass on CH. And his little piano flourishes were sweet also.

Ronnie Wood has hired four nannies to look after his twins at night to make sure he’s as fresh as a daisy when he heads to the recording studios.
Ronnie, 69, is busy working with the Rolling Stones and is keen the girls cause minimum disruption to his night’s kip.

I'm sorry, but I put on the Cross Eyed Heart CD on loan from the library. It was one those times you keep moving from track to track because nothing moves you. Soon the CD was over.

And, let me guess, Bill's CD is on «repeat all songs»?

No, but the single is pretty damn good and out flashes anything Keith croaked out on CEH.

I know it is. You'd think Keith would have come up with something better after a quarter century wait.

You really need to throw STB away and listen to an awesome album. Like CH.

Congratulations to 100 pages of chitter-chatter about an album that has not been released!

After a Stones song was played on a local radio station yesterday, the dj said:
"This will hold us over until their new blues album is released".
He probably knows as much (or as little) as everyone else, but then again he might have some inside info.
Maybe the Stones decided to scrap the new material (Mick's demos, etc.) and make it a 100% blues album.
