Irix, since last year already I had meant to ask: How do you manage to pull those ultra high resolution pictures off rs.com? Especially the Tour Posters. Have you hacked into their server or are you the one who runs it?

No, absolutely no hacking - it's only a playing around with the picture-URL - some others here know the Trick too. Twitter has btw often two sizes of the same picture - standard size and picturename.jpg:large .... smiling smiley

For me it's not so bad that Mick Taylor isn't on Tour with them.
We can finally see how Ronnie is doing with Can't You Hear Me Knockin' or Sway and I'm sure he is getting better and better with every concert!

I doubt Sway is going to be played a lot on this tour. Maybe not at all. I am aware it was played at Fonda.

I expect they'll rotate the SF songs. Don't be surprised if Columbus gets a mini-set of Sway, Wild Horses, and Dead Flowers.

Keith should do a break at moonlight mile. He is noodling too much around and plays notes that don't fit to the harmonys. And Ronnie should play on an acoustic guitar. But the keyboards are great!! Someone said at the Fonda Show there were no keyboards on mm and that it was missing something..

What a great way to start a holiday morning... Although I wish my body clock wouldn't have been set to "weekday", a start that includes a couple of good cups of coffee, some nice baking, a beautiful sun-rise, quality time with my dog, AND 21 PAGES OF PICTURES, AUDIO & REPORTS from friends worldwide about the start of a Rolling Stones tour has started my day off WONDERFULLY!

Thank you all for both participating and providing!

Peace.
Mr DJA

Not a bad setlist. Will be interesting to see the variations throughout the tour. Happy to see that Mick didn't overdo the woo-hoos in Sympathy (he must've seen Shine a Light movie).

IORR............but I like it!

Great of them to try Moonlight Mile. A very delicate song to pull off in a stadium. Jagger does great on the higher notes. Surprisingly.

The picture of the two of them above as well as the one of KR & RW where people are talking about the eyes have just made it onto my shortlist of "favorite Stones pics".

Currently pondering as to how I can pull off a run to either Nashville or Atlanta to catch a show. Hmm...

Peace,

worried, if you go to the proper thread CALLED All SOLD OUT I will talk to you about the ticket for Minn. I haven't even considered going there, but I am just looking for an excuse. Tell me what is cool about that area to add to my Stones experience.

Mick played it beautifully. Keith (power) and Ronnie (colouring) did great licks. Lovely version, imo. Mick's vocals were excellent.

Not whining about the set list per say I just wish they would mix up the so called war horses. In my opinion PIB, UMT, GOOMC, 19th Nervous Breakdown, LSTNT, MLH are every bit as good and well known as GS, BS, SMU etc. SFTD and MY should be dropped in favor of other songs. I've seen these songs enough and that is why I am not going to invest this time. For those who do have a great ti
