Whip Comes Down from Sucking in the '70s is up there as far as officially released stuff goes.
It starts with the run from Rip This Joint through JJF to SFM - wonderful 3 songs full speed on.Quote

Gimme Shelter in the small Paradiso church was a dream.
Just as Street Fighting Man, Monkey Man, Still A Fool, Down In The Bottom, Angie, Sweet Virginia, Dead Flowers, Shine A Light...but especially Like A Rolling Stone since that was the first time they played it for an audience.
Before that? Satisfaction in Charlie Is My Darling...very energetic.

I have to go with Midnight Rambler from Ya Yas. I never tire of listening to it. It is because the '69 tour was a radical departure from all other tours they had done. They were taking risks musically, playing new material, they were breaking in their new, young guitarist, who dramatically changed their sound, and they played this long, creative, dark song called Midnight Rambler, with several tempo changes and disturbing lyrics. By the time they got to Brussels they had perfected it. But on Ya Yas, it was still raw, unrefined, and they even made a couple of musical mistakes on it. It was new, fresh, brilliant, and it remains my favorite live recording. I think it epitomized what the '69 tour was all about.
