Not sure if it was played the previous days but I saw it on a list from Friday before SOL and I'm pretty sure it was not played at that time. Some very faint guitar was heard for a while before we finally recognized SOL but they were most likely working out the chord changes for that one. Have my doubts about the intro of "Ventilator Blues" too, the whole song was not played that's for sure.

This would make little sense ? Keith and MT have not even spent any time in rehearsals together. How can they work out arrangements for new additions to the setlist without doing that ?
Lisa and Bernard have only just arrived, too.

Anyway, Paris Match have already squashed the rumour.

Pretty cool to see that they rehearsed with just ronnie and mick taylor, wonder what micks reaction was. As much as I love keith, lets face it woody does the heavy lifting these days. So in that respect it kind of makes sense that taylor and wood would still rehearse together even wiyhout keith being present.

Yeah I would think still a bit early to take it out of the garage. Some of the parts just arrived. A couple more days with all involved and them give it to the public live.

Wow, now they're doing Keith songs sans Keith???!! Mon dieu! Who's handling vocals? Ronnie? Bernard? Charlie???!!!

Haven't commented until now, but THANK YOU for everyone for their quick updates. It's truly exciting to read what's going on right now in the City of Lights.

Can't wait for the new tour... I saw them twice in Newark for what seems to be an eternity ago and I can't wait to see them again. We're really truly, truly lucky that they're still playing together, playing so well and still trying to surprise us. Add Mick Taylor on top -- seriously, how spoiled are we??

Yeah, he must be there...

But of the songs rehearsed so far: SOME GIRLS doing very well... only "Lies" unrehearsed. They really sound like being proud of that album (and for a good reason). Seven for both STICKY FINGERS and EXILE is no bad either. The rest is usual 'best of' type of selections. Nice to hear they touching "Street of Love". It worked well during the ABB tour.

Also nice to hear Taylor being more integrated to the band. Probably the "three guitar attack" we dreamed last year might even come true now, who knows...
