With the 3 main markets in dire straits it's hard to build a SA tour.

I don't see why not - apart from what you've pointed out about the economies down there - I wouldn't think Keith's release will get in the way of the Stones ticket sales.
Plus if he releases at the beginning of September - his sales will be likely done in two weeks - every keith fan will be right on it...............a lot with pre-orders no doubt...........that still leaves 4 weeks to talk up the Stones in earnest - the rumour on the other thread was the first date is right at the end of October.................

Having said that - you might be right as Keith did say that he didn't want to release while the Stones were still working......so............we'll see no doubt.

The way I see it ,this leg of The Tour finishes soon.

Maybe something in London before September 18th when album released.

All set for South America towards end of this year................or am I missing something here.

Stones take priority, as Keith always declares. A billion-dollar tour will not take a back seat to a modest promo trek for what will be - let's face it - a cult release.

Venezuela was never going to happen. Argentina's economy, believe it or not, is stabilizing ahead of the election. The Bra7il upper/middle class loves to spend money. In a worst-case scenario, they just play BA 3 times instead of 4, let's say, or drop Porto Alegre, let's say.

Sept 18th can't come soon enough ... and the first single in about a week!!

I wondered the same thing. "Trouble" was a Leiber/Stoller composition that EP did in the fifties but I remember it well from his '68 TV special. Seems a great choice for Keith to do. I can hear it in my mind....can't wait.

Its obvious the Stones come first for Keith, so there will be a very small window of opportunity for him to do some shows this year to promote the new solo album, if the South America tour is on this year.

Anyway, the KR solo album is just a wonderful piece of news! It has been rumoured for a long time, but to be honest, I never believed it would actually happen. Now I do. And the possibility of a solo tour...seeing Keith live solo would be yet another dream come true!

I wonder how long it took to record?
The RS Database (Nzentgraf) as far as hasn't many reference to any recording sessions....and its usually pretty comprehensive.
Nonetheless good news. Lets hope there are some club gigs and some decent interviews around the time of its release.Not the usual PR stuff and lazy phone -ins.
Who knows, The Depp documentary might even surface?
