I sincerely hope there are ballads and "reggae crap." I love that shit. Looks like there will be a bit of everything. Delightful. I am so excited. Hope there is a tour and a stop in my neck of the woods. Sept. will be a good month.

I hope it has something other than ballads and boring reggae crap..
Seeing that it's not Jagger and Stewart doing SuperBoring the ballads should be great and the reggae should be great.

I predict!
One ballad.
One reggae.
One soul (could also be a ballad - see above).
One country.
Two R&B/funk.
Two Blues (one real slow).
Three fast-tempo rockers.
Four mid-tempo rockers.
Also:
No disco.
No rap.
No politics.
No lead singer from India.
No horrible "contemporary" production.
No nonsense.

If he can contribute from beyond the grave...

Keith's Facebook confirmed that 'Love Is Overdue' was the track recorded at the recent session with Lee "Scratch" Perry.
The March LA session for Johnny Depp's documentary also included Larry Taylor and Doug Pettibone. According to Mac, they recorded versions of 'Happy', 'You Got The Silver' and a new song he described as "really, really strong" and a "a real dark song, a bit of a country song." Keith told him it was inspired by the Louvin Brothers.
From Doug Pettibone's Facebook:
From left to right: Larry Taylor bass, Jim Keltner drums, Keith Richards guitar and vocals, Waddy Wachtel guitar, Johnny Depp guitar, Ian McLagan keys, and yours truly pedal steel guitar.

This thing has been in the works a long time. If Bobby Keys, why not Ian McLagan (who was musically active right up to the day he died)? But there's no mention of him so it's an outside chance.

It's from November 16, 2013 post on this thread.
Surely Mac was there with Keith and Waddy.
I hope I can hear Mac's keys again on this album.

Unfortunately the horriblle compression of the sound on this CD will render it unlistenable.

So that means the SA tour won't happen...? In a way that's not really surprising, Venezuela is in the toilet, Brazil still recovers from the World Cup and faces the 2016 O-Games and and Argentina's back to the Menem years.
With the 3 main markets in dire straits it's hard to build a SA tour.
Stones take priority, as Keith always declares. A billion-dollar tour will not take a back seat to a modest promo trek for what will be - let's face it - a cult release.
Venezuela was never going to happen. Argentina's economy, believe it or not, is stabilizing ahead of the election. The Bra7il upper/middle class loves to spend money. In a worst-case scenario, they just play BA 3 times instead of 4, let's say, or drop Porto Alegre, let's say.

It looks like they will be back on tour to SA after this leg. In between maybe he will do some gigs to promote the album? There is no news from "the RCMP news channel" about things being cancelled in SA.

My guess is, he will do some solo gigs, to coincide with the release of his new album. Maybe shows in London and NYC. With some luck, the South American shows will go ahead, or.....they will start recording a new Stones album in the months November, december and the SA leg will start in february 2016.They can promote the New Stones album that way. After that the European Summer Tour 2016 !!!
Sounds all great. Just wishing and dreaming.
Please Please Keith. Do some solo gigs in London and i will be there !!!

Reckon Keith would get away with doing a couple of tracks from this album in his two song slot with the Stones?
