What the heck are you talking about? If you didn't know there was a difference between the euro & the japaneese boxes then you're prolly the only one. That's why a lot of people bought the euro deluxe and the vinyl because taken together it's still only 1/3 the price of the Japanese box.

The only apparent mystery....maybe not anymore...is that the us deluxe also contains hyde park '69

Ofcourse I knew that the Japanese box had the Lp's, I wanted everything together, so that's why I bought the Japanese one, but I didn't know that the European version was not a box at all, just a book.

I guessed that you knew the LPs were included...my point was that for 1/3 the price one could buy the Euro deluxe and vinyl separately...I didn't think the book was worth an extra 100-120 Euros.

I've gotten nada from Italian Amazon, not even an email. I'm hoping to see it at least in time for the holidays.

I just came back from my best friend, with whom I've been to Hyde Park on July 13h. We just watched the DVD/BluRay together and....

I was under the impression it was to be shipped Nov. 11...I guess we'll see!

EDIT...I checked my account at amazon.it and this is what I saw:

So presumably sometime at the end of November.

For my vinyl I checked and Amazon.ca estimates Nov. 18 delivery.

I know the Japanese sets were released in October so they should be arriving but I don't know why some people are already getting their Euro deluxe sets.

I guess we've waited this long!

Amazon.de anounced me that my "Deluxe Boxset" was sent yesterday, should get it about in a week

JPC.DE told me that my item has been send on November 7. The one with the 3 lps.
Now it is the weekend and monday is a day off. Will receive it on next tuesday I think.

I can confirm that: it's only a Book in the Size of 28.5 cm x 28.5 cm x 1.2 cm.

There is a FSK-Label directly on the Frontpage of the Book. It's a Sticker - it can be removed, but it's not as easy as it could be (the best is to use a Hairdryer).

For those who are uncertain if the 60p-Book is it worth or have to wait until Birthday or X-mas, there are on Mega some Pictures of the european Deluxe-Edition.

That's just a tad under a square foot...big enough!

The book is nice,good pix.

The sound of the cds is not too good, not a very warm feeling toit.

Yes, this is the european Deluxe-Edition. Cannot compare to the japanese Edition, because I haven't the latter one .....

I can't imagine they'd do a better book than that for the Japanese version but who knows.

Hello,i bought the "limited"box with dvd & t-shirt,the box size is a little bigger than the dvd inside but nice and the size of the t-shirt is L which is perferct for me!!Super,salut!

Well, I have bought it to have everything together in one cool boxset: dvd, blu ray, cd's and LP's, it has ofcourse the most tracks: Tumbling Dice on the dvd/blu ray and Happy on the bonus cd and the box itself looks very cool and much more special than just the European hardcoverbook version,....

but I didn't know when I pre-ordered it, that the box hasn't the hardcoverbook. When I did find out this I also pre-ordered the European deluxe set.

I realy can't say what is the best offer:
the difference in price is so big that you can think: maybe the two Japan only bonus tracks are not that important and the European hardcoverbook is much more beautifull than the cheap looking Japan booklet inside the box.

There's no really saying what has better value...as I said I bought both the Euro deluxe and the vinyl and I'm sure people are going, 'why bother, just buy the Blu Ray and you have all you need'...which is true.

Sometimes though you can't always get what you need, you get what you want.

Hey thanks a bunch for that! Can actually see myself in one of the pics, well the side/back of me...you would have told me that when I was a kid pouring over all the details of the cover and sleeve of my first Stones LP "Still Life" 31 years ago...

well I decided last week to buy the Japanese version after a conversation with a friend who persuaded me thatn Happy was only available on the 3 cd version,well it arrived friday but I was out so had to collect it yesterday,good package ,but I am surprised that there is only Happy on that 3rd CD.

By the way, you're not automatically entitled to have a look inside in a shop. There are CDs and DVDs enclosed, and once unwrapped/unsealed, the thing is not saleable (or returnable) anymore.
As being a shop owner myself I have one copy which is unsealed for people to look at and inside. It's the one copy I payed by myself for and will take home in a few weeks.
