Indeed. The whole multi-format cluster f**k has been enough to make me pass on this particular release even though it documents a show I was at and enjoyed.

I'll wait a few weeks or months until the prices drop. I'd ideally like whatever format (ie the Japanese one) has the most material, but at the minute its not good value for what is barely two hours of music padded out and duplicated over several formats.

Got an e-mail today too from Amazon Germany that my (european) Deluxe Box was shipped today

Unfortunately no e-mail from JPC Germany regarding the japanese Blu-ray. My order was placed mid September and since the release date on 30th October, JPC says "deliverable within 2-3 weeks"

It would have been better to order directly in Japan.

It seems that CDJapan and Amazon.co.jp have delivered in time of the release date, also to Europe.

At this point yet a late 'Thank You!' to those who have answered my question regarding the delivery of the japanese Edition with the order from CDJapan and Amazon.co.jp.

I got an e mail today from Sainsburys to say my deluxe box has been dispatched. Maybe it will turn up before the 11th !

Sainsburys emailed yesterday that my order has been posted.

Got my " so called European deluxe box" today from the postman (yeah I know, if you already have the Japanese version, to buy this one only for the hardcoverbook is a little too much!),
but now I know why this version on Amazon is so much cheaper than the Japanese one:

It's not a box at all, it's just the hardcover book, sealed with a sticker on it with says incl two cd's, a dvd and a blu ray.

So the deluxe European version is not realy deluxe, just a book with inside the 4 discs.

I don't know if there is also a real European box version. If it exists you probably have to pay a lot more than for this one.

I'm now very glad I already have bought the much more beautifull Japanese one!

Well, I bought the new stones-set DVD+ 2CD "Sweet summer sun" for 17 Euro here in a store, today. 19 Track DVD+ 19 Tracks on both cds. just like it.

What about the sound mix on the cd's? I'm listening to the cd1 at the moment and it seems different to the previous download (I have FLAC)

There is a set available in which you get 2 DVDs and Hyde Park T-shirt for £30. And a big box is also included if boxes are your thing.

You're missing my point. The T-shirt version is not realy a deluxe box and I already have the Japanese one.

What I'm saying is that no one knew before hand that the European version is not equal to the Japanese version, because is not a box at all. Everyone thought it was.
That is the mean reason of the price difference!

What the heck are you talking about? If you didn't know there was a difference between the euro & the japaneese boxes then you're prolly the only one. That's why a lot of people bought the euro deluxe and the vinyl because taken together it's still only 1/3 the price of the Japanese box.

Ofcourse I knew that the Japanese box had the Lp's, I wanted everything together, so that's why I bought the Japanese one, but I didn't know that the European version was not a box at all, just a book.
