do you have a source for this?

Normally media control delivers the data for the Charts, but it's unfortunately not for free. A good source too is Amazon.de.

On Amazon.de is 'Sweet Summer Sun' #1 in the category Music-DVD/Blu-ray.

On JPC in Germany is at the moment the DVD+2CD Edition #1, the 3LP+DVD Edition #5 and the Deluxe-Edition #8 in the Sales Charts.

Unfortunately amazon's chart's aren't the official charts. Very good though!

Would like to see something official, Germany's equivalent version of Billboard, whatever that is.

Where the heck is GeorgeLicks when you need him?!

The official Charts are in Germany from media control, but they don't show them for free over the Internet sad smiley

Maybe somebody can make a picture from the Chart Posters in the Saturn/Media Markt .....

Got my copy last week.
Vinyl / DVD set and on my
DVD the Volume of the audio is
sometimes high and in the next moment
low. Is it only to my ears or is it
on all dvs of this concert film?

I recognized the same volume problems on my DVD. Very disappointing and annoying.

Same here, but after I selected Dolby 5.1 sound, the problems disappeared thumbs up

Thanks for the hint - but unfortunately it didn´t work for meconfused smiley. I gave it back to the shop in order to change it, but unfortunately the CD/DVD was sold out.Got the money back and will buy it again the next days. I hope to get another copy without these problems......

Be careful getting the discs out of the package, y'all, I nearly had to resort to a knife to extract the blu-ray.

Glad you showed it the blade...sounded like it was causing trouble.

Y'all worried me considerably with this - but the disks in the European deluxe set
come out of their spaces in the book quite obediently if you just press the buttons in the middle hard enough.

I guess to for the US version you gotta be tough tough tough tough tough tough tough

Sorry to cause anxiety! It was just getting them out the first time--once they'd been loosened they were fine.

Ooh! Vinyl (and 2nd DVD) just arrived from the frozen north! hot smiley

Sorry if this has been talked about before.

If anyone's interested in such things... I've noticed small mastering differences between the lossless download version and the new CD.

The CD version has slightly more limited peaks. This results in a little more flat/slick sound to my ears.

The download version is already compressed to maximum (dynamically speaking) though, so that doesn't make much differences anyway. But I think the download sounds a little better...

Mine came in today and it has Emotional Rescue instead of Tumbling Dice. I'm happy! The U.S. version was to have Tumbling Dice, right?

As far as I was able to follow all this: Nope, TD is only on the Japanese version,
which has four bonus tracks while everywhere else has three.

My BlueRay sounds great. But last night I had to watch the movie on my computer which only have a DVD player. Used the dvd from the CD/DVD set and the audio was just as you describes it. But it might just be my old computer. Will check it out later playing the dvd on the BlueRay player...

Originally it was reported the other way around. There was a huge outcry as everyone wanted to have Emotional Rescue on the regular release. I'm not sure if that's why the change was made but it was made.

So yes, now Tumbling Dice is on the Japanese release as the 'extra' bonus.

Would have been great if they closed with this, with Taylor on guitar. And Bill on bass.

I have been to 6 shows where SFM was in the set and indeed all of them excellent except one and that is Hyde Park 13th of July 2013. I hoped and voted for If You Can´t Rock Me(because i love that song and a hoping that would be perfect to add Taylor on guitar in it plus me having only got it once live but SFM 5 times) But and SO... When Keith hit the first chord of Street Fighting Man and they blasted in to it i was astounded, got goosebumps and flashback from my first concert and that highest great of the Stonesfeel i´m sure you know.I felt one of most happiness feeling i´ve had.
So, it was not just excellent it was outstanding!spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Has anyone noticed differences audiowise, regarding cd vs. video?

As I hear it, You Got The Silver and Midnight Rambler are different from each media.

Any others?

I didn't buy the vinyl. Only CD version. I'm not very found of vinyl made from digitally recorded and heavily compressed music. This said (generally) vinyl does get better result even from a digital source.

Why would that be do you think? Is it real or imaginary? I love the sound of vinyl...both the beatles and stones new vinyl sounds amazing to my ears, but for the Beatles at least, and probably the Stones as well, they are cut from new digital masters.

I don't know why. It's just something I've noticed on some albums I have on CD and vinyl.

On the other hand a recording with no compressed dynamic range can sound good on CD.

All Stones recent vinyl reissues are made from digital masters. Either from the Bob Ludwig's 2002 DSD remaster for the 60's, or the Universal 2009 remasters, or the 2011 DSD flat transfers (for some albums - only released in Japan).
