Heard some rumors about a new album this year. I think this confirms it. Wonder if we are looking at US dates this year

I'm going to go ahead and guess that the got back tour is over and that this is the first step in promoting a new album and tour. In my opinion the artwork is suspiciously good for what is basically a one-off small show. It would be a great album cover, and it would be too easy to change that inner graphic to match any other cities landmarks and skyline, which is perfect for tour merchandise of course. Plus I heard McCartney's band got him a commemorative gift thanking him at their most recent show, which makes me think that that tour is finally done.

Nice artwork indeed...these small shows could have been a nice promo vehicle !

I think it's great that he's at peace with those years and enjoys them. Their breakup was nasty and I wouldn't blame anyone if they had hard feelings over it.

Good amount of changes from last night:

Can't Buy Me Love in for A Hard Day's Night
Flaming Pie in for Letting Go (and apparently the first time Flaming Pie has been played in awhile)
Getting Better ostensibly in for Maybe I'm Amazed
Let Em In ostensibly in for I've Just Seen A Face
Love Me Do ostensibly in for From Me To You
Drive My Car ostensibly in for Mrs. Vandebilt

and Blackbird and Jet just added into the set. Some of these are approximations. The set tonight, if correct, was 2 songs longer than last night, but way more rotation than I would expect from him.

Just a few changes to the set. There's a picture floating around and this is the actual setlist:

Can't Buy Me Love
Flaming Pie
Got To Get You Into My Life
Let Me Roll It
Getting Better
Let 'Em In
My Valentine
Nineteen Hundred And Eighty-Five
I've Just Seen A Face
Every Night
Love Me Do
Blackbird
Come On To Me
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
Drive My Car
Get Back
Now And Then
Lady Madonna
Let It Be
Hey Jude
Golden Slumbers
Carry That Weight
The End

Which actually means:

Can't Buy Me Love in for A Hard Day's Night
Flaming Pie in for Letting Go (and apparently the first time Flaming Pie has been played in awhile)
Getting Better ostensibly in for Maybe I'm Amazed
Let Em In ostensibly in for Jet
Every Night added into the set
Love Me Do ostensibly in for From Me To You
Drive My Car ostensibly in for Mrs. Vandebilt

I think is right.

I'm hearing show on Friday, not tomorrow. 3 in a row does seem like a lot.

7 changes in the setlist is huge. Anyway you look at it

Basically it's the typical setlist played in 2 concerts, plus a few extras. Maybe the next one (rumored) would have deep cuts? Anyhow, it's an interesting situation.

It's exactly a combination of the 2 setlists played during the recent South America and Europe dates.

Here's It's Getting Better from the 1st night at the 02 on December 18 2024.

$50 hard copy tickets, 1 per person, at the door, no phones. Sounds like heaven.

He could play there every night until the end of time and it would be sold out.

Goes to show they don't always have to charge $500 in a stadium.

Saw McCartney in 2019 in New Orleans.

Fantastic.

Have never been a fan of his solo material yet it was awesome.

Ok whatever.

Incredible show.

And I realized, holy crap, I am seeing...

What a joy.

I'm grateful as a fan of music that he's still going.

Anyone should be, really.

Think he'll play My Valentine and dedicate it to Nancy tonight.winking smiley Will be interesting to see if there's anything unusual in the setlist. If so I hope there will be a release.

selling out a 575 capacity venue in NYC is no rocket science…

Yeah, I think they can manage the wow factor without using “sell out”grinning smiley
