I'm in for the O2 on 18th. Section 112 Row R of the 'lower bowl' for face (non premium in any way). I'm happy with that for what could end up being my 10th and final Macca show. Looks like it will provide a very decent view of proceedings.

AXS/O2 is currently the best source of tickets for the O2 shows so thanks to MoW&T for recommending. For the real poker players out there, I'm sure even better tickets will pop up nearer showtime but I have peace of mind now winking smiley

Much to their credit, both AXS and Ticketmaster (Yes I'm even giving them Credit) have a resale process whereby tickets can be sold for a maximum of face with their resale admin fee of 15% or so added. I used it to sell my spare for Manchester 1 though they do ask for a passport scan and bank statement to repay the money, which I thought was a bit excessive. No idea why they can't just re-credit the payment card.

Any reports from anyone attending the Sunday show?

You'll be fine in block 112, and even row R is not "too high up" in the block. Good one ! The entire block is set back far enough from the stage so that you have a decent "angle of cut" relative to the stage, anywhere between 30 & 45 degrees. You're not "side on" - so to say. I always go for block 112 whenever I'm buying for the O2.

Interesting what you say about the ticket transfer or resale process. It seems that finally, after some two sodding decades of being complained about relentlessly, some ticketing firms are slowly cleaning up their acts. I bought a resale ticket for the second Madrid show, and although I was sceptical and worried about buying through STUBHUB, it all worked as it should ! Got an email with a link about three or fou days before the show, accessed the STUBHUB site, logged into my account, and downloaded the ticket as a PDF, which I then printed off ! Bingo !

Enjoy the London show !

Nice one Grzeg67, glad you scored a ticket. I, rightly or wrongly, passed on a block 112 row V seat so am still holding out for something better.......

Good luck Mr Chris. Had I been looking, I too would have passed on row V. Simply too high up, albeit that we're talking about block 112. Keeping fingers crossed for ya ...

What a massive con this has all been. I don't know anyone who was able to get tickets for either of the 2 London shows but all of a sudden since the weekend many tickets have been popping up at not unreasonable prices.

Obviously a heck of a lot of tickets must have gone to hospitality and these are now being returned.

I've just seen tickets available in the front section A3 for the last night of the tour, albeit row XX, for £280 plus whatever they slap on at the end.

This has been going on for years in Germany. Is it a new sales tactic in the UK? Now I live in Portugal and from the looks of it you have to buy immediately like it used to be in the old days. I think Spain and Italy are the same? Just a little info for the travelers.

By some miracle, I did score a ticket in the presale in block A2.

But these tactics are par for the course and a total insult to genuine fans.I can't think of a large venue that doesn't invariably try it on with the hospitality packages, which then get dismantled and put on sale at "normal" prices as the date approaches. And unfortunately, it seems that artists are (perhaps unknowingly) complicit in all of this, as they could easily stop it all in an instant if they chose to do so.

Thanks. Standard Tickets in good places are popping up, almost certainly after having been separated from unsold hospitality packages or unwanted by corporate. @MoW&T, I think you'll be in the house one way or another, and somewhere decent too winking smiley

I was in Row 23 in the equivalent section in Manchester on Saturday and while still good, I could have done with being a bit lower down. I've been up in the 400s 2 or 3 times at the O2. It really is too high up for me though I would have done it if I hadn't grabbed one in 112.

The whole ticketing business is a joke nowadays, none more so than for these 4 shows. To take advantage of these late drops, you have to live within easy reach of the venue and be able to attend at short notice, which I luckily can. After trying ceaselessly when they went on sale in June I got my Manchester 1 ticket 5 days before that show and my London 1 ticket 2 days before - madness. Face for both.

The Tickermaster and AXS Resale for Face or Less + an Admin Fee (copying the Twickets model) is showing some early promise so let's see how that develops. There are always people who buy at face with good intentions who then find themselves unable to attend between purchase and show. As Paul's long lost friend once said, "Life is what happens when you're making other plans". No doubt the bots hoover up some of those too.

That may be a bit more complicated and depending on territory.

The artists and even their management doesn't have full control over the ticketting system.

But some artist are caring more than some other on that matter and I would not put Paul in the caring category regarding what happened back to the 2002 summer tour.

I tried to get a ticket without success. In the last days the axs site showed me tickets. But I could buy the ticket. terrible. I had a ticket more times in my basket and could not pay...Yesterday I saw on the ticketmasterwebsite a resell ticket for. 1000 GBP. Crazy.

Even Pearl Jam is now charging $200 a ticket. Seems like the only artist who really is actively keeping prices low is Robert Smith and The Cure.

Managed to get a ticket via ticketmaster on the day for Manchester at face value, they released a few . Block 114 right next to the stage.

Sure his voice isn’t that of 60s Macca but at 82 he’s still astounding.Nearly 3 hours without skipping a beat. His band are tight as they come too, you can tell they’ve been together for a couple of decades.

Towards the end I got that sinking feeling this may be the last time I get to see him live. I tried to take it all in as much as I could for what it was. I done it a few years ago when The Stones last toured the UK too. It may not be the last time but each concert I see a true master of the 60s (they’re becoming few and far between) I can’t help but get that feeling.

For anyone hoping for a last gasp Ticket for London, both Ticketmaster & AXS appear to have taken all sales offline and it's now box office sales only!

You can always rely on me to be scathingly critical of the way ticket sales are conducted these days, with perhaps the very rare exception ? grinning smiley grinning smiley grinning smiley

Just out. Wow! Another top performance, which I enjoyed even more than Manchester. Section 112 at the O2 is an excellent viewing and listening spot! There were a load of empty seats on the row behind me with a perfectly good view. What's that all about!!!???

A great night indeed - it really is amazing to think that here we are at the back end of 2024 and I have seen The Stones and a Beatle perform Live this year. We are lucky indeed! For anyone catching the gig tonight, look out for more than one Beatle......

A top notch performance last night. Although his voice is a bit fragile these days he does not shy away from the potentially voice straining Maybe I'm Amazed and Helter Skelter.

It was a real celebration of his music and long may that continue. I hope that his parting shot of "see you next time" does not relate to tonight's show and he continues to tour.

My thoughts exactly about how lucky I was to have seen the Stones and Macca deliver incredible performances this year. Sir Paul seemed to be even perkier than than the last time I saw him at the London O2, All the old film footage and images made a very poignant backdrop, especially for the tributes paid to George and John. Today's media reviews are invariably ecstatic and rightly so.

He's in London. I think all bets are off tbh. He's done it before and if he comes on stage to perform (as he did in 2018, accompanied by our very own Ronnie) then the song will likely be 'Get Back' but wouldn't it just bring the house down if it's 'Now and Then'?

No further dates announced after tonight. As the crowds dispersed after Manchester 1, I overheard his security manager of 35 years Brian chatting to an older Scottish couple and he said nothing is booked after tomorrow.

He's already done North America on this tour but nothing can be ruled in or out. I've heard rumours that he wants to open Everton's new stadium, the club he grew up supporting in Liverpool. He likes being 1st or last to play venues - he closed Candlestick Park in San Francisco in 2013, where the Beatles played their final show in 1966.

One thing I will say is that based on the 2 shows I've seen in the last week, he still has more to give so barring an unforeseen event, he'll be playing somewhere!
