As the american shows prove, a crappy audience = crappy show, thank G-d for the Glasto Crowd, what a show!
Oh, Yeah??.. But you just proved American audiences are much classier.
Also, from the footage I see, it looks like with the whole crowd combined, you may have one set of good teeth..
But I like it.

While the guests aren't really important, some do add something extra. Florence Welch, Tom Waits and Bruce were really great. They should just leave them out if they aren't gonna add anything. Throw Gwen Stefani and the like, in that bin. They could've cut at least 33% of them I reckon.
I thought Fogerty and Bonnie Raitt did a great job in San Jose.

Waits and Bruce should have been great, but sounded completely unrehearsed. Waits came in at the wrong place, and Bruce didn't know the chord changes.

Ron and Keith barely play on SFTD. Watch their hands. I listened to a bit of the show on streaming radio and heard a lot of Chuck Leavell's keyboards throughout. I'm not sure why people give these reports of how awesome the guitars sound on this show when they seem to be playing less than usual. These guys are playing okay, but the show sounds more slick and together due to Darryl's bass playing, Chuck's keyboards, and the horn section. It's as if someone made a decision to play it that way to make it more consistent for broadcast.

U2 is a great live band.
Springsteen too.
Love both of them to death.
One thing is for sure, the young people in the audience must be shell-shocked.
They witnessed a combo of power and energy that is other worldly.
Shock and Awe baby!

GFY
The truth hurts. Stop watching the shows through a camera lens.
GFY = Good For You. I also do not own a camera.
I think you have the wrong acronym for GFY
The proper interpretation is Go F**k Yourself![/[/b]quote]
Don't be stupid, everyone knows it means GOLF FOXTROT UNIFORM !!

Can't help feeling thrilled for Mick Taylor; I can only imagine what this tour and these shows mean to him. It just shows you that you can never fully predict the future, and the only thing that is final is death itself.
