Jesuschrist!!! That was one hell of a performance!! smiling bouncing smiley 2000 LYFH was great. Really loved Ronnies guitarplaying and sound on that one. And Micks problems in the beginning is just the charm of live Music...

Anyway, the band was on fire to night. Hyde Park is the highlight of this year for me, and after this..... It must be good!! >grinning smiley<

Blows Newark out the damn world! Where's the bootleg!!!

Are you serious? Calm down. A nice show for sure but take a deep breath. All these greatest show ever! Best Rambler ever! posts are simply nonsense! Anyone who saw/heard the Stones live in the sixties through the 70's know this to be true. Stones are doing a great job and definitely putting everything they have into these shows ( I loved both shows I attended) but to think anything happening on this tour is the greatest ever is just wishful thinking or as is human nature an attempt to feel what you are experiencing is the best ever. A nice thought but it has no basis in reality!

It does in my reality.

Exactly what DVDs were they studying? Their own, or....

This should get a DVD/BluRay release. I bet that the energy they showed tonight has been without equal at a pro-shot show since Hampton 81 or Texas 78. They blasted Glasto to smithereens.

Why bother with comparisons? They've still got it and that's all that matters. A Rolling Stones concert is still a great party.

Great show! MT on MR a bit lost as if he did not know what to play, I thought. But the whole band is in fantastic form. Looking forward for next week!

Agreed they definitely still have it. For some reason the "greatest" whatever posts just annoy me. Guess I'll have another brew and let it go.

Loved it. They played great. Hats of to Ronnie and Keith. Great solo's by Keith on Sympathy an Satisfaction. He is playing better and better as the tour progresses it seems. Nice touch to see All the Stones including MT at the final bows.

Saw it on BBC2... Stunning, they rocked the house! Again it is obvious that there really is no other band like them. The rhythmsection is just brilliant and Ronnie, Mick J, Keith and Mick T.... They all rocked! What an energy for 70-like musicians!

Puts any US show to shame.

Boring crowd equals boring show. Tonight was the best show they've done on this tour.

Load of cr@p.

This is an iconic festival on their home turf that has been anticipated for decades.

EVERYBODY as rooting for them to put forth one of their amazing legendary performances. Including fans from the US.

Hey don't be mad with me. The truth hurts, I get that.

While the guests aren't really important, some do add something extra. Florence Welch, Tom Waits and Bruce were really great. They should just leave them out if they aren't gonna add anything. Throw Gwen Stefani and the like, in that bin. They could've cut at least 33% of them I reckon.
