Another Great BV pic.

Is that a Rhino's butt on Ron Wood's chest?

hmmm Munich...didn't realize you were a bit of an assman.

Its a butt

Why is Mick bigger than the others? He's a giant.

And where's Darryl sticking his guitar?

HAHAHAHA that´s a good one!!!

That picture has made me question the nature of reality.

Yes.. I thought MT was restrained as well, I think he could have cut loose some more but didn't want to tread on the others toes.

He did a raga run... magic.

That really was a small and restrained solo by MT. It was absolutely stellar. Imagine the freshness and excitement he could bring add to the rather predictable. He guitar is just what is needed over Ronnie and Keith's weaving to add a freshness that has been missing for almost 4 decades. After all Taylor is a Stone. Keith himself said on Jimmy Fallon that "he and Ronnie need a 3rd hand from Taylor. Yes, From the horse's mouth. Why is he being held back? They would sell out quickly if they let him play the entire show. Much better music for the fans too!

Let MT play the Sympathy solo like on Get Yer Ya Ya out - that would be wonderful. It's getting better and better.

The three guitar players are raw power together. Thank you very much for bringing Taylor along!! I never thought I' d see this. I's great to be a Rolling Stones fan nowadays, and I's great to see how well Mick T, Ronnie, and Keith blendsgrinning smiley I love the Rolling Stones...

Agree with all the comments on Satisfaction, Taylor's playing very subdued, not
wanting to overshadow Ron/Keith - but that "3rd" guitar sure as hell helps this
song so much more than the version I saw opening night at Staples/LA..
Can't wait to see where they "add" his guitar to more numbers!!!

I like that it is subdued, and I think that will make them more likely to include him on other tracks. It's great to see them improving with each show and Satisfaction exciting once again.

great stuff, IMO the setlist is amazing for the first ten songs and then it becomes the greatest hits show(a theme on this tour so far) which is saved by the great work by taylor on satisfaction

Re: San Jose May 8 Stones show live updates

I just watched the video and was waiting to hear the difference and then it hits you square between the eyes. Having seen dozens of versions of this song since STEEL WHEELS the immediate recognition is that Ronnie is free to bounce off Taylor in the lead up to the solo like I haven't seen or heard him do ever before. Largely Keith just keeps the riff going and Ronnie has little to add to the song. Here Keith holds down the main riff and the soloing makes a great improvement over the imitation Stax horns and overdone backing vocals that handled the melody line on previous tours. No one can claim Taylor was too loud or showboating. Instead you've got the perfect example of what a three-guitar band can be at this stage in their career. I'm not suggesting every song, but every song that Taylor played on in the past certainly would benefit from his appearance. What a joy that was to watch. Not taking away from Clapton or Beck or any of the other guitarists who have shared the stage on this tour, but Taylor is able to mesh with Keith and Ronnie's sound instead of seeming like a Guest Appearance. This is really the ideal band if they only build upon this.

Taylor's sound is getting better here, and I like him playing the main riff in octaves.Very effective.
