I guess we will see...
I say 2-3 days before the show tickets will be available.
There is always tickets available a few days before the show. These are called house holds. For people in the band or who work at the venue or a guy like jerry jones or tony romo that have people they want to give tickets or sometimes a radio station etc. It is sad but true the very best seats are set aside and never are for sale. So the ticket you see a few days before the show In this case like AT&T stadium that is all but sold out. Are tickets that people with connections did not use. Or from orders that did not fill. Because of a credit card issue etc. So. Yes there will be tickets. But this will sell out no problem. All but sold out now. This I know from someone who knows all. Thanks

Stuhub has better deals than i can find on TM for same locations so something has to give on TM.

I found this once or twice myself.
Funny thing now, I decided to make Pittsburgh my "get best seats I can" show and found reasonable Platinums (vs VIP packages for same seats) but every pair I click on I get "another buyer is in process of buying this" message. I keep clicking on the next set and keep getting same message, but the tickets still show as available -- Bait and switch? Or are a bunch of people really all suddenly buying Pitt Platinums at same time

What a strange message, why show them if someone else is buying them? Bait and Switch indeed, especially if the seats are getting worse each time. Pushing you back with anxiety so you end up grabbing the first one that becomes available. Or possibly trying to push you to the VIP packages.
The SD show Platinums through the Padres site give you a countdown clock to buy the tickets, if you're quick you get them otherwise they are automatically released.

Sold out means that the seats that they have put up at a given moment are sold. It is really hard to believe that there are not tone of unsold tickets . . . whole rows in Dallas and everywhere else. What is available for sale at a given moment has no relationship to what has been sold and what has not yet been sold. it has nothing to do with "house holds," radio station returns, credit card returns, etc., everyone knows about all that. It has to do with people not wanting to pay hundreds of dollars to sit in the back half of a football stadium.

Sure enough, either I am doing the search (or something) wrong or it is sold out now... at least ALL "normal" classes of are showing as NOT available when I try to look for tickets.
Of course there are plenty of up-front floor tickets available for $2000-$3000 in the "we are scalping these ourselves tickets" category. And I do mind them doing that at all. I would rather ticket money go directly to the Stones than ANYONE who would buy awesome seat and then resell them for $2000-3000. So cool.
I would imagine that after touring and touring for years and years and constantly seeing/hearing "your" tickets being sold on the secondary market for $1000s-$2000s++ a person (Mister Mick) would get sick of seeng/hearing about it and start to think "We should get that money, we are doing the work".
EDIT- It bugged me, I thought maybe I am looking for tickets wrong or my browser or something... so I just looked at another venue (Nashville) and normal tickets come right up.
These tickets held for: 01:43
Sec SECG Row 4, Seats 16-17
$368.30 ea
Also Nashville
These tickets held for: 02:43
Sec 331 Row D, Seats 14-15
$110.60 ea
Arrowhead
These tickets held for: 02:31
Sec 330 Row 40, Seats 9-10
$79.65 ea
So I am doing it riggt and Dallas appears sold out as far as Ticketbastard is concerned.
anyway...
Good for Dallas for supporting them like this. wow!

Several more platinum packages were added to the lists today for KC, Pittsburgh, Buffalo. You can get front row Pittsburgh for $764. Still too rich for my blood. They're not in the center two sections next to the catwalk, but the sections one over on each side.

Those are relatively good prices for front row..the same tickets in San Diego are over $4000.

It's important to remember when a fan compares a $2,000 stones ticket to a $150
stones ticket - a nosebleed ticket and a front row ticket are both worth zero
dollars after the show. I realize there is value differences in the two experience - but to this degree?

Man if I ever pay $950 for a Stones ticket I better be sitting at the top of Keith or Ronnie's guitar, by the tuners, looking down at the neck as they play

During the three previous decades, Keef has expressed the law of falling bodies and he has written the Ring Cycle, that is why they are so expensive. You get what you pay for: Excellence. If you disagree go listen to poofter indie folk bands! Here we are talking about real rock'n'roll with soul, blood and balls. You can even see Keef smoking on stage and Ronnie almost drunk... way more rock'n'roll than Coachella!
