Already past — it was April 15th, rather than the end of the month.

Eventually they will be all sold out - somehow. I totally agree that for nosebleed seats a 600 to 700 $ Ticket is way out of range. At the end you can gamble on the 85$ or go for the safety seat. I think this is by far very fair. If you intend to spoil yourself go for the VIP thing. I assume Vegas will be sold out in no time. Once the tax year is done (end of April for US) they will go for tickets even if they are higher priced.
For sure secondary market will drop like in November and December.
Yes, but refunds aren't mailed until mid-May or so, if you've waited till April 15th to file.

Having been self-employed for several years, I sure miss those days of receiving a refund check in the mail, and I believe a check in the mail is still the method for receiving a refund.

Alright, so I'm a little behind the times. I only bought my first CD player 8 years ago. eFile? For me, that will be sometime around 2032 or 2033. I need to catch up on everything else first....

So you're saying that whole 1988 musical journey with Jimmy Rip on guitars dripping in chorus and Ibanez tone was all Jagger needs to succeed?

Maybe if they dont sell the high price seats day of show maybe they will be reduced to low prices,
I think not

RollingFreakOh boy. Its a good thing they aren't 70 and they need to worry about finding a promoter for future tours. Honestly, that'd be perfect for them. They charge insane prices. If it works, great. If it doesn't, they are screwed in terms of ever charging that much again, but they still get paid. And most likely they won't be touring much longer so even if this tour ruins their chances of getting a promoter again, its not like they realistically needed to worry about keeping their options open.Quote

What do they care if the tickets sell or not? The promoter is the one taking the risk. the band gets paid whether anyone buys a seat or not.
If the promoter gets stuck with a load of unsold tickets that they suddenly have to unload at the last minute for $85, they're going to take a bath, and it will be impossible for the Stones to find another promoter that will let them get away with charging these prices ever again.

From the maps I've seen those $450 seats are the worst in the arena (45 degree angle behind the stage), the $150 are better. So no wonder those aren't selling.

I think so. They're not gonna play to empty seats. They'll give 'em away first. Anything to preserve the illusion that the show is "sold out" and that the Stones are still a "hot" ticket.

Does anyone have information regarding if and when the price of these tickets might lowered and be offered to fans for $85 ?
he never did mount a tour in the US without the stones !i think that speaks volumesQuote

No, but now when you say it: if Jagger would tour alone, he surely would not gather so much attention and audience and total gross as he would do with the Stones, but would he still earn more than one fourth of the cake he makes from the Stones? I mean if he would put his hearth into it, and there is no way the Stones would tour again, and people be awere of that, I think he would do rather well (it would been as close to The Rolling Stones as one could get). For example, seemingly Springsteen and Macca are as individual artists doing better than him, even with lower ticket prices, but are they really bigger shots than him?
That Jagger sort of failed once, would not mean that he would always fail.

Given I can pull up just about any seat/pit type for any U.S shows that have been on general sale for 24hrs on Ticketmaster it seems the pricing model may be....broken?
Seems the public have gone "stop, we'll think about this"....rather than just diving in?

Still seems true
