At this point I don't think anyone knows how it's going to play out...
So yes I think something should be lined up for the after show where we won't have to worry about that anymore. It's been said here that the St Giles remained opened pretty much all night in 2007 and until 3/4 in November so it looks like a good spot. Thing is it seems its bar (or one of its bars) is closed for refurbishment. Maybe someone local could call them up to find out?
I just called St. Giles. I only know of the bar that's being refurbished, but it seems they have another bar that's open "for guests", though only till midnight. Tried to ascertain where this bar is located in the hotel, but the reply was less than clear. Will try ringing later tonight when someone different should be on reception.
But maybe someone who's going to be a guest there can ring up and tell them they'll get lots of custom if they keep the bar open later. Come on, flairville and straycatuk - work your charms on them!
Cheers, Dave - but just to clarify..will that be for residents only or can the rest of us riff raff show up and get in?

So Monkeypuzzle before the show and St Giles after the show, is that correct ?
Is there a meeting place for friday night ? Pride of Paddington?
yes.
No idea about Friday. Not sure if anything formal has been arranged.
I was going to make a suggestion for Friday, as the weather seems set to be alright for the week.......myself, BarRoomQueen and a few others will be going to Hyde Park for a picnic and a couple of drinks. Would be good to catch up with fellow fans from IORR what with it being 44 years to the day since the Stones played Hyde Park. There will of course be Bon Jovi playing in the background!
Longchamps 30th June and 1st July 1995 if I am not mistaken. Very hot first gig warm whisky flavoured by spermicide in condoms, Viagra forerunner. HARD to beat.Quote

As long as youre not drinking smuggled whisky out of condoms again, that might be a plan.
Oh and full circle - Bon Jovi booed and bottled off the stage!Quote

We will position ourselves at the northern side of the park in front of the main entrance where there is quite a large grassy area.......look out for tongue t-shirts!

I hope something's been lost in the translation Steve, because that comment is conjuring up some utterly horrific images.
