Hi! A Shebeen in Stones' talk is where the band and the entourage hang out prior to a show. They have dinner there, relax, play ping-pong and then get dressed for the show.

I think the word comes from an English term meaning pub/meeting place.

Bruce springsteen play HRC in 2012 and wil not play at the festival this year.

That Hyde Park bash seems more plausible, but I'm not sure about going there to catch a concert, I mean, can you see anything if you don't get there hours and hours in advance?

wow. i really didn't expect to see Bruce perform there again!!!??? he has so many shows in the UK lined up already, incl. a huge show at Wembley!

Wow...so it's just one big open space, no "tiering"? Apparently there were some VIP tix for HRC last year, is that where you were?

There is someplace where you can sit which is more to right of the stage, but it's not really close to the stage, there is no golden circle/separated area at the front of the stage or something, just one open field. and no, i had normal tickets. you could get front without vip tickets.

New Hyde Park promoter AEG is making a few changes, including "repositioning" the stage.

But aren't you supposed to put in your holidays at home? Unless you work through your holidays, too.

Point is I will be forced to put in holiday dates at work soon if I don't get tour dates.

Originally Irish meaning a bar where you could get illicit booze (like Poitin, potato whisky, lethal stuff which could literally turn you blind !). I had 2 glasses of the stuff when I was 14 and was ill for 2 days....!!!
