I'll be posting here unless I get banned for speaking the truth.

If you're not getting banned, you're just not trying hard enough. And it's not that hard.

Tell me - I was banned for posting a pic in my sig of Patti and Keith!!confused smiley Perhaps the pic was too large? I dunno!!

I was banned for not covering my mouth when I coughed once. I realize it's cold and flu season, but c'mon, man!

To Dreamer:

YES!! I'm taking my laptop "up North" with me on Thursday. My car is already there!!

I'm also sort of an "outsider" now because I will not attend every show and mingle backstage. That's my choice!! That said, I still am 'part of the entourage' and I'll receive info later today (Monday overseas!!).

I'll keep you posted here regarding shows (and vans!!) across the pond.

I also KNEW you were part of the 'inside group' from the moment you posted.hot smiley (Takes one to know one?)

I'll be posting here unless I get banned for speaking the truth. God forbid I should post that pic of Patti and Keith again.

Sending you good vibes.............

smoking smiley

Same vibes to you smiling smiley
Info later today about the FEQ I suppose...
Ah well...anything wil be nice to read about for all of us.

I just can´t understand that i.e. A´dam, Paris or Berlin
are not even taken into consideration. Where´s the
point not to play let´s say 4 shows in mainland Europe?

I would like to see those (who already had G. tickets)
getting a Stones show: mostly young festival goers.
Now Stones fans will buy festival tickets on ebay?
Please not.

If there are more UK shows, Im available from June 21st
onwards.

You won't be able to buy tickets on ebay for Glastonbury that will get you into the festival.

To stop touts reselling them the tickets have the name, address and photo of the ticket holder on them and get checked at the gate.

That's why the Olympia Park rumor makes sense to me. Hard Rock Calling has not yet gone on sale or announced - it does not have the loyal following or reputation that Glastonbury (which is already sold out, I believe) does.

The Stones don't care anymore so why should I...

Everybody loves a clown so why should't I...

I will go to London, I already did the trip for them, from Paris it's very easy.
BUT: do you really think that we can call " a surprise" (for people who don't have tickets to Glastonbury) a 'banal' gig in a stadium?
Hyde Park would be a more original place and full of memories...

Not everybody at Glastonbury is a 'young festival goer' I'm in my early 50's and there will be thousands of people in the same age range at Glastonbury. It's a very mixed bag regarding age range. It's not like V or Leeds Festival.

I should also point out that those of us who have our Glastonbury ticket got them way back in the Autumn, if the Stones play then it is a bonus, but not the main reason we originally bought the tickets. THis will be my 12 th Glastonbury, going back to 1979, I've always dreamed of seeing my favourite band play there, so despite seeing the Stones many many times at various locations since 1976, this will be a dream come true. Even if it inspires a whole new cohort of younger fans then that is a good thing surely?

Bill Wyman is playing at Glastonbury

Bill, 76, who left The Stones in 1993, is playing Glastonbury this year with his band the Rhythm Kings. ‘I don’t know if the Stones will be playing,’ he added.

Why a festival? They can't overcharge the tickets there since there are more bands involved. Nobody pays a thousand quid to visit a festival.
And most festival visitors are about thirty years younger than the average Stones fan.

Bill's not old enough to be 76. None of us are.

Do you think Bill will let the Stones guest on one or two of his songs with the Rhythm Kings?

Yes it is still owned by BellMedia (CTV's parent company) but all MTV production moved down to 299 Queen St. a few weeks ago so it's vacant now. Totally empty.

Yep but if anyone is planning on trying to get one of those tickets you will have to register your details and photo via the Glastonbury website at least a week before that date.
If the stones get announced I think there will even fewer tickets returned than normal.
I've paid the deposit for my own ticket and most of my mates have done the same but we really needed an extra two.....very little realistic chance of getting them now though.
