I mean heh? Is there actually still a large magority of people that still listens to this band regularly? You have to admit their haydays are long over and they haven't really put out anything for years thats worth listening to. Do you still play your old Stones stuff all the time or are you just more in love with what they used to be and what they used to mean to you? Not trying to be an @#$%& here but come on lets be honest. Being a huge Stones fan doesnt make a whole lot of sense in this day and age. What else have we got though, Justin Beiber?

I listened to the new Japanese direct metal mastered vinyl of IORR and SF over the weekend.
You have to wonder about people who take the time to come to forums dedicated to a particular artist and then post primarily negative comments. You might think that these people are either retirees with too much time on their hands, or young trolls without any other social life, but there's more to it. For many, engaging in heated discussions over the internet is their primary interest in life - in fact, according to research done at the Wentworth School of Medicine, it may be the only way they can get an erection.

The Stones don't even listen to The Stones anymore. When they're on stage they have cricket matches and episodes of Coronation Street coming through their in-ear monitors.

Not sure this is a good example. Nobody listens to Beethoven they listen to intepretations of him. We listen to the originals!

Who actually listens to the Stones anymore ?
Well, all of us, don't we ? That's a quite simple answer to a quite stupid question.
